Half-Life: Alyx made its way into Steam's top 25 concurrent daily players on release day, peaking at 42,858 players. Seems to me this opinion article just lost a whole bunch of...'Steam'....get it?
And just a bit ago I saw an article headline blasting an opinion that not many people will play this game. Sounded a bit salty, and just in time an article with some actual facts.
If bad UX stopped me from playing games then I would have never played Skyrim or a bunch of others...

Make or break? I would disagree seeing as the studio has many other titles that they could focus on. One bad game doesn't close the door for a studio who's sold multi-million copies of games. In fact I think Anthem is getting a smaller less managed team to save money and focus on new projects. Anthem 2.0 is probably allowing bioware to gain more control as games like Apex have shown that the studio knows how to build better games than the publisher.

I might just be speaking for myself, but I think we're bored hearing about the "power" of next gen.
Its different than those two. Maintaining the fluid combat of both but adding the roguelike elements to build character and base. Most the variety comes from the different weapons you can pick and how the enhancements change the way they are used.

The whole concept of winning a generation is outdated and stupid. That statement funnels all game liking people into a single sheep like entity and you're high to think all gamers like the same things.

Yawn, really sick of consoles trying to compare themselves to a PC. When PC is better everyone is like, "Console is not a PC stop comparing it". When console is supposed to beat PC, everyone is like "Console is better than PC na-na-na-na-na". Ya'll be hella boring.
