You sure are misunderstanding since your memory may be rusty. Instead of looping the whole track (which would be normal) they loop the first verse and the chorus for most songs. Instantly cutting a whole track down to less than half the song and then that small bit repeats over and over and over and over.. you get it. Not to mention that they cut the whole lyric to Dead Kennedy's Police Truck and just made it instrumental which sounds quite horrid, as much as I love that song and DK.
Booo! Goldfinger, The Suicide Machines, Dead Kennedys, The Vandals and Suicidal Tendencies... oh man, what an awesome soundtrack that game had! Too bad they looped the music though.

Actually it's exclusive to gamestop and nintendo's website (probably Nintendo stores like the one in NYC too). I cancelled my preorder from Amazon and advised them on the situation with the game a couple weeks ago.

I liked it when each Final Fantasy entries were an independent story and after each entry is finished they move on to a totally new tale. There should be no need for these games to have sequels whether the ending is ambiguous, left a sour tastes in some of our mouths or even a happy ending. Please, prove to us that you haven't run out of good, interesting stories to tell instead of pedaling out the same cliched story.
