As much as I liked Yakuza 3, I would sub in Yakuza 4 for it. Other than that, I can't really disagree with your list. Maybe Uncharted 2 instead of 3 but both are such great games either one can fill that spot.
If Namco announces Tales of Innocence R, then that will solidify my purchase.
Waiting has been the smartest thing to do this gen. So many "GOTY" editions and 75% price drops within a year of a game's release.
I'm really digging the music in Graces, it's up there with some of the best in the series. The story is interesting and better than most of the jrpgs out this gen.
This game is incredible. So much extra stuff to do with great characters and an above average story. If anyone is on the fence about getting this, do yourself a favor and just pick it up. You won't regret it!
Like how Microsoft screwed them over with the first Psychonauts? I would think Schafer would want to have the biggest possible customers since a sequel will unfortunately sell similar to the first. Yes, there is a lot of hype for it now but who knows what the game will be up against if in a theoretical release window. I think they should do a kickstarter for it just to soften the dev cost but it seems like they're weary of the mass appeal of the game.
Katamari works wonders on females.
Funny how the show spends a long boring season on the farm while it only lasts 5 chapters or so in the comic. I blame Mad Men and poor writing for that.
Millions of dollars and still my favorite franchises rot in Japan. I'll throw those greedy son of b!tches some money for those games to see the light of day.
How about companies like Namco do this for help with localization costs! Seriously!
Tales of Graces f
Ni No Kuni
Xenoblade Chronicles
The Last Blade
oh boy, it's gonna be a great year for jrpg fans.
All early unlocks or "cheating" upgrades. Don't buy this crap, only download the free stuff.
The more sales the better. Hope this means XSeed will be bringing more titles to the US.
Well, what do you expect when the person reviewing the game doesn't even realize that the game is a spinoff and the tone was not to be taken seriously. Yes, I've heard the game has it's problems but don't write a review treating the game as though it's the same entry into the series as a numbered Yakuza game. It seems as though the reviewer gets it wrong on a few occasions, especially lasting appeal which all Yakuza games have countless mini games , side quests and feature...
Graces f isn't a remake. It's an enhanced port with added content. Don't let NB get you down, I've been buying their games used for years since they gave Tales fans the shaft but since they announced this one I have to support it. It'll definitely be worth you while and hopefully we'll see future or past (come on ToV ps3!!) games come over to the US/EU.
"Whats even more amusing is that you say that Destructoid is a "Lazy, Boring, Ordinary, Video Game Site"...but you still clicked."
Except I didn't click. I know what this is all about just from the little blurb. I know they're not going to be trolling about ThatGameCompany but are trying to compare a new genre that is starting to create new and fun ideas and chalk them up as boring experiences. Then they're gonna yap on and on about how art gam...
Got my e-mail confirmation so I should have this baby either tomorrow or Wednesday. Looking forward to it!
Fun review. Pretty glad I read it.
Don't even need to read this to know that it's just more Destructoid troll BS articles. Lazy, Boring, Ordinary, Video Game Site.
Wii owners got Symphonia 2.
