How about an HD release of Grim Fandango for starters?!?!
When you're done with Chrono Trigger play Xenogears!
One of my favorite adventure series next to Monkey Island, Broken Sword and Gabriel Knight!
Don't get all butthurt. Not all Ubi games are shovelware but they were the shovelware kings on Wii so I'm sure they're eager to retain that title with the WiiU.
Ubisoft just can't wait to dump more shovelware on Nintendo consoles.
Medal of Honor Rising Sun was released in Japan. A game closer to our current time period than this where Japanese gamers played as American soldiers killing their ancestors. If that wasn't a big deal, then this is nothing.
This is a tough call. For me it has to be Shadow Hearts: Covenant. Although Xenogears and Chrono Trigger are close behind it on my list.
You're in for a treat then because Yakuza 2 is easily my favorite game in the series. Yakuza 1 is no slouch either. With better graphics and fast loading times in the HD release, it should be a great experience for those who haven't played the first two games. Fingers crossed on a US release!
Nintendo needs to come up with better names for games.... SNES = Super x, N64 = x64, Wii = x wii, now xU... come one nintendo...
Did they officially announce Yakuza 1 & 2 HD yet? If not, then it'll be that.
I've never heard a game called 1st party based on it's publisher. Remedy is not a Microsoft 1st or 2nd party studio so the game is 3rd party. MGS published Ninja Gaiden and Bioshock but that doesn't make them 1st party games, even if they owned the IPs, which they don't for those said games and Alan Wake. When talking about 1st, 2nd, or 3rd party it's always about the developers.
Alan Wake was 3rd party....
So... they cut out stuff of a game that was made of cut out stuff. Interesting....
So you're comparing timed exclusive DLC for a game that's coming out for both consoles at the same time to a game that was released for a console at one time and later ported to the other? Really fishing there buddy.
Well, at least the DLC for Tomb Raider is only timed this time, instead of with Tomb Raider Underworld where MS paid for permanent exclusive DLC and screwed over fans on ps3 and pc.
Wasn't Bayonetta region locked too?
Definitely sold this at a loss.
Only if SNK develops it.
13 was never a 360 exclusive. Both were announced as ps3 exclusives and then MS announced at e3 2008 that 13 went multiplat. I think that was the last big announcement MS ever had at e3.
I'd like to see another Sam & Max and Monkey Island before that though.
Why?
Well, for starters.. It doesn't work on windows 7 and had real bad problems running on newer machines running XP. Even though initial sales weren't good, it's a highly rated game by fans and critics and there is a recent resurgence of interest in the adventure game genre with remastered versions of Monkey Island 1 & 2 and Broken Sword 1 & 2. GOG.com also has close to 18,000 people requesting that Grim Fandango be added to their catalog since it's ...
