Of course it should be praised.
Its understandable devs can't work for free, so I've nothing against charging for DLC. I'd also like to see though is discounts for gamers who love the game - for example with 800 achievement points get a discount of 50%
Graphically it looks gorgeous.
However, question marks over the AI....
FRU looks unique. I can honestly say I've never seen a game like it before.
It looks really fun (a must buy for me) and wouldn't be possible without kinect.
That doesn't justify the extra 100 in cost by including kinect, but it sure as hell shows that the technology can add to the gaming experience.
Me too. While the difference is very very small, and to notice it requires a direct side by side comparison, I thought the xb1 version was slightly foggier. I don't know if thats a good or a bad thing.
On BF4 I thought the PS4 version was slightly foggier though.
But really theres little to no differnce
Thats unfortunate. Mine has (50Mbps) and I can't imagine going back. I can even go to 100mbps if I want
Unfortunately internet speed will continue to affect your enjoyment of a gaming system.
Who cares if the Xbox doesn't do well in Japan? I'm sure there are some gamers in the country who will be grateful its coming - even if they are the 1%. At least MS are providing them with an option.
I'm Irish and couldn't care if I own the only xbox 1 in the country. I bought it to play single player and multiplayer. My friends don't really game so it was never about them. Whether my neighbour owns an xbox or not doesn't affect my enjoyment on my one....
To me, this is bigger than Titanfalls release....it wont sell as many consoles but essentially offers free games forever
I'm in the same boat (but for xbox1)
I'm really looking forward to this DLC - more than any other.
They already have some really good games out.
I cant chose between PVZ or Titanfall
While I'm not a big fan of indie (of course there are exceptions) I'll probably buy one of the upcoming batch. Purely to give a bit of profit to the devs and encourage them to continue making indie titles for the XB1.
No clue which one I'll pick yet though
I would say you get that already with TLOU. Why not offer diversity by having 2 unique IPs instead ofbringing them closer together
While I've never played Uncharted its clear it has a big following. Its understandable if they get upset about changes to the essence of the game.
It'd be like BT making Gears of War into a COD based FPS (extreme example obviously)
My confession (as a shooter lover)
I want to play this game more than Titanfall
This sounds like a convenient application. Sure its not essential but you never argued that and the option is nice.
The same way kinect can be used to enhance a gaming experience, the gamepad seems pretty cool too. I'd like to see how watchdogs is implemented in the Wii U
But at Sony's best developers do they really want to change? Is it broke? Does it need fixing?
I've never played uncharted but I loved TLOU (yes I know the TLOU writer is taking over Uncharted)
Its true that the xbox is better online. Lets forget about value and free games here, the core online multiplayer is better on LIVE. MS specialise in this field anyway, so its to be expected.
Sony games usual seem to be single player focused in comparison.
I suggest buying a PS4 if you prefer single player (once a few of their heavy hitters arrive) and Xbox if you prefer multiplayer. Both are great consoles, they just have a different focus
Hmm perhaps these are targeted at the Japanese market?
Might be down to numbers of games sold. How many copies did TLOU move compared to Uncharted 3 (genuine question)
As an xb360 and 1 owner (also access to a ps3), Uncharted never appealed to me. However, TLOU is probably the best single player campaign I've played in 5 years.
I have no doubt she is a talented woman, but if I had to pick between TLOU and Uncharted (I know thats not the choice) it would be TLOU every time.
I'm sure uncharted are great games and she'll be snatched up by another studio asap (though I'm not sure it will be Sony based it they ...
I haven't had problems on BF4 for XB1 for a long time. Are these issues PS4 confined?
I'm an xb1 owner and haven't bought Titanfall yet. I will also say that Infamous looks like the best exclusive to hit the PS4 yet.
I hold alot of faith in Edge reviews, but after a quick look didn't find their Titanfall review. Anybody know what it got?
BTW this isnt a competition between them. Both games look worth buying if you're into their genre.
