I dunno if people are liars, I think it falls back to the good ol' panic mode.. For some reason when anything negative happens to such a mass amount of people, hysteria sets in and the phrase 'It's going to be O.K' gets stretched to 'OMG, THE WORLD IS COMING TO AND END, AND OBAMA SAID SO HIMSELF'.... Like Sony keeps saying.. People need to stay CALM... This is NOT then end of the world and is NOT the end of PSN or the Playstation family of products...

Nothing of a upgrade per say.. The update will most likely be for CFW and the password reset.. With everything going on please don't be thinking your getting cross game chat or some other 'feature' cause it won't happen.. Maybe a new login type. As they already mentioned, you may not be able to store your password anymore and will have to manually put it in every time.. Something like this anyways..

So now they are saying there is no evidence to show that credit card information was in fact obtained but rather just out of PRECAUTION.... So, if this in fact correct it is great to hear... Hopefully we will get a 100% in the next few days...

The fact that your expiry date and cvc number was not obtained is a very GOOD thing... It is very difficult to use JUST a CC number without the other 2..
This is however, very bad. The sheer fact that these large companies make us use sooooooo much personal info to sign up for things for stupid marketing purposes and then do not safe guard them is just pitiful. I am kinda at a loss as to how to feel over all.... I won't be affected as I never put my CC info in to PSN but ...

This happens rarely. I have been using steam for over 2 years and never ONCE have I had a problem.. It is not the best service in the world,however, it does allow DISTRIBUTION of content @ a level not offered by anyone else... So to keep it on topic and talk about distribution... Steam is the best in the business at it, however, that don't mean they are good at post delivery support...

That is not a download/delivery issue..
Most of the time that is a hardware or software issue.. Sorry you are having a hard time.. Have you check steam support forums? There is a ton of info on that error code... Good Luck!
Well I can promise you 1 is fake for sure. The last one. As he states the bank told him "it should not hurt your score too much".... Having fraud committed on your credit or debit card does NOT hurt you credit rating... If the person steals your identity and goes and creates multiple credit applications under your name then THAT hurts your credit profile and that process can take months and even then it can get sorted with proper documents and such... God people love to fucking trol...

To your second point... I have had fraudulent activity tied to my bank card before. I had almost 1400 bucks taken over 2 transactions about 2 years ago... How? Well like I said in my previous post, some...
