If you actually read the response to the committee you would know Sony did NOT confirm the attack was by Anon.....
They stated that they found a folder planted into the server titles "Anonymous" "We Are Legion".....
Then the U.S House of Reps asked, "Do you know who is responsible for the attack"?
Sony replied, "No"

It is very difficult to to get convictions on hackers. Most judges have NO idea as to what has happened and the laws are so blurry and 'made up' that most of the times nothing happens...
I would LOVE to see these hacker(s) get arrested and convicted for their crimes but the likely hood of a conviction is to me a bit of a pipe dream..
Maybe in some other countries the have more strict laws and better conviction rates and the hacker(s) can be tried there.. Who...
