Any publisher would write IW a blank cheque and say "have at it". The next big name that comes to mind would be EA. However I think after the money IW has made off the COD series, I can actually see them becoming their own publisher/developer. This would give them the complete freedom from a creative and financial standpoint. Bethesda did the same thing and they are LOVIN it!

yes and no. The PSN will be down for users for about 15mins, and the PS Store will be down the whole time. The only thing people might have trouble with is accessing DOWNLOADED games, or BETAs.. As those games need to pass the authentication servers and they are USUALLY down through out the entire process

I WAS excited for MW2 but then I started seeing gameplay footage it just seems like COD4.. It will be fun for like a month, maybe 2 but anything after that is going to feel like DLC from COD4. Yes thats mainly because its a third party beta. And besides IW and Bungie are a lil to 'proud' of their work to let the consumers (gamers) tell them what works and what don't. Its sad really..
While I agree that it will most likely occur on the PC, however your statement about being able to do screenshots and report bugs is a little ignorant. I'm in the MAG beta and we have screenshot options and a IN-GAME bug report tool as well as offline report tools. What it comes down to is the tools the dev gives the tester, nothing more nothing less.

Yes most likely. I cant see them not doing a BETA on PC considering thats where their community started. With regards to the 360, well they have a big install base and MOST mulitplat betas are run on 360 so I can diff see it happening

I find it hard to believe... Its really sad that EA shut these guys down. They have alot of other devs or departments that could of got axed instead. Im not sayin pandemic was the best studio out there cuz they weren't, however they are better then alot of others! Back on topic. I bet EA was just like, do what you can in 3 weeks and after that the game is gold. They will get another dev team to support it post launch, prob Bioware.
