This reviewer was smoking some serious crack payed for by MS IMO.
Its described as a third person shooter that doesnt get off the ground , when the focus of the game is more then just third person shooting.
Hence the name Warhawk.... dog fights, tanks, etc. Plus 3rd person shooting which wasnt the strongest part of the game.
Reviews never have been what makes my decision about a game they are always faulted being from 1 perspective that isn't mine heh.
Its sad though for new gamers cause they usually get whatever is hyped and scored well in reviews.
I felt overpowered in the demo I know what he means It does seem easy especially since you gain a lot more powers as the game progresses, seems like it lacks a variety of enemys from what ive seen so 9.0 seems justifiable to me. 9.0 is a good score and its editors choice.
Nice comparison of the cgi and actual in game though.

So cost is high but companys always invest in the future not the past. 3rd party EA games arent system sellers either.
Thats why I said as time goes on blu ray becomes more attractive because development costs will go down as time goes on. Devs will be able to streamline ps3 game development as time goes on and it will be less expensive. Also expect a larger install base as time goes on.
It takes time for the masses to adopt ps3 but they will eventually.
Not because I dont like the wii or 360 they are great. Just looking at the market as it stands though... Last Gen ps2 had 2/3 rds of the console market last gen. So ps3s slow start matters little its just how it goes. Ps2 started slow too.
Wii seems to be gathering new gamers who hadnt gamed b4 and wii isnt really poster boy for hard core gamers. (hard core gamers buy most product)You may disagree but look at the actual prices its like 1 ps3 = 2x wii $$$ wise.

Great month, Got some bioshock to play solo and some warhawk to play with buds. Next month looking good too , matter of fact theres probably at least 2 games I must have eventually coming out every month for the rest of this year and on into 08. Ahh 07 it was a good year. Wallets looking anarexic though. 8(
Cause my 360s been replaced 3x for scratching discs and if any mods come out they wont be on 360 anyway.
It comes down to games cause eventually the prices will equate after numerous price drops. Ps2 won last gen due to plenty of games. This gen PS3 has the specs to last longer then ps2 did. The library seem small now but ps3's library is looking more and more attractive as time goes on.
The 360s #s I wonder about because they replaced my 360 3x already 4 scratching discs and Ive heard of people worse off then I.
I already see it with alota games but definately in 08 ps3 haters will have a tough existance.

Or 2x video cards to give a console some staying power.
What i really wonder though is what kind of optical drive it will have. I mean is it going to be Hd dvd or something new.
I mean i can see ps4 using a larger capacity blu ray disc like the prototype 200 gb ones. Ms will have to drop dvd9 for its 3rd gen console to actually be considered next gen IMO.
seriously sony is gona have alot of heavy hitters in 08 and developers are already warming up to ps3 now. MS has there work cut out for them.

08 will rock for PS3, the tables will turn cause ms heavy hitters are landing in 07. Most of PS3's heavy hitters wont land till 08 though.
Heavenly Sword, Lair , Warhawk , Haze are just teasers. In 08, 09 and beyond the ps3 library is going to be hard to match.
Gimme some specs of blu ray and Dvd9 if your gona spray this cause I recall blu ray reads faster.
