Well theres also 115 million + ps2 owners waiting for 08 and MGS4,FF13,KZ2,T6 etc. Before they grab a ps3. So its not like sony has to worry.
Yah The whole bringing out new sku's that are as or more expensive is getting old. Lets get these behomoths price tags down so they are competitive with wii's price tag.
In ps3's case a significant price drop > 80gb sku , seriously if someone needed more space an external hdd connects to a usb so easily.

Crisis Core is going to have to be enough for at least a couple years. Im sure ff13 and ff13vs will be great ways to pass the time while waiting for ff7 remake.
They remade ff 1-6 so Im sure eventually 7 the most criticaly acclaimed best selling ff will get its remake.
I hope the remake has been secretly in production for some time now. Its possible that they are waiting till they mastered there new engine and ps3 optimization before they do an ff7 remake.

What im getting from his interview is that a game may be 60 fps , Then you play it and at times it slows down below 30 fps and your like experiencing lag.

Grats to ninty for taking the lead, I dont think they will reach ps2's record b4 the ps3 though If ever. Due to Sonys 08-09 lineup having so many system sellers, and future price drops. Also because ps2 still sells well wii doesnt seem to have the longevity imo.
