Its true because when new middleware and engines are created it always Improves graphics. The Cell and blu ray is probably going to make the evolution of graphics on ps3 more pronounced over time though.

Cod4 is great but the Anti Aliasing in KZ2 looks way better from what ive seen thus far(look at the power-lines in footage of both games cod4 has jaggies, KZ2 has none and actual animations to the lines.) I think sequals are vital, merited and remakes are only good in the case of a game that is worthy like FF7. An enhanced port at the begining of a new generation ninja gaiden sigma for example helps to fatten a consoles library so can also be a good thing.

Well they used blu ray to what 91 % of its capacity? Thats good. The Cell in order to be used most efficiantly I agree will take time. Its a bit more complicated to utilize all of cells strengths vs all of blu rays capacity.
Its totaly possible that its all to do with perspective. Im sure these reviewers were judging the frame rates by the human eye and not a program that clocks frame rates.

This review was done by Kevin V different reviewer then R&C TOD reviewer. IMO Kevin V's reviews are more reliable to me having played with him on game nights. I value dudes opinion a bit more.
I think it was Aaron Thomas that did the R&C TOD review and he also made a video at TGS where he interviewed non-english speaking booth babes and tried to have a 1 way conversation with them. Dude is funny but reviews don't carry as much wieght with me.
I play halo 3 too and Cod4 etc. Until I get tired of playing for the day and see what there is to discuss. Multi-facited they call it? I play recreationaly and am interested in machine guts and expanding my understanding of the way things work. I am not easily amused.
True, eventually the devs will optimize code and the cells spe's could power superior lighting, 4d effects , physics etc. It will only take time, middleware .. and games whos engines are built to utilize all this, and Firmware updates hehe.
I remember reading about tekken 6 using some middleware for its water already for dynamic splashes etc. pretty sweet. Sounds like the advent of next gen water graphics/physics.
I look at it this way... Last Gen Sony won hands down with ps2 but xbox had superior specs and was starting to show some superior games. Unfortunately the Xbox lifespan was short.

Did I read correctly in seeing that Devil May Cry 4 for ps3 is out in japan ? Because that and Dynasty Warriors 6 are import worthy if so (cause ps3 titles are region free right?). To many good domestic games lined up atm for me though. DMC4 Import very tempting though if so... Or was that #1 rank in sales pre-orders?
Great game, excellent MP. I wanted it for the MP. UT3 demo was great too but thats for insane fast pace want to frag a muda quick gameplay.

I got the same samsung plasma hdtv as shown in that vid and my cod4 copy for ps3 will arrive tommorow. It looks bad a** thats all Im sure of at this point.
PS3 users are everyday heroes. They make the choice to support F@H which is doing important research. They could easily make the choice not to fold but they have a moral compass it seems that points them in the right direction. (improves the gamers image).

This is Next-Gen in game graphics man Tekken 6 is going to be killer, I remember seeing gameplay months ago and it does look better in motion.
Uncharted looks great. Anti aliasing in R&C is better. The more realistic art direction in Uncharted makes it Better though IMO.
