Is the MS part over ?
hopefully this stuff is liscensced in 3rd party products as well to bring all this inter-connectivity to the masses quickly.
I use a wireless 3rd party controller that feels perfect for my ps3 usb keyboard and mouse too. Its versitile. Still getting dual shock 3 later though.
sync is next best thing to knight rider. I hope I can get it put in my next car or maybe my 2002 stang.
Yah, when 8gb prices go down I may pick up a couple of those.
Sometimes I just get the pc version of a game since its 10 bucks cheaper then ps3/360 versions.
Nice design , Im cool with my USB (saitek K+M razer) setup for now though. I can just switch them to the ps3 or pc, whatever Im using atm.
I do end up untangling alot of wires once a week , Wireless is looking good.
You get more power for your buck building your own though. You could easily build something more powerfull for half that price.
In many ways it effects gamers , Movies to games , games to movies .... hardware that attached to 360's becoming obsolete.

True True @ 28, I do feel the xbots pain though there is to much HD dvd failure news going on.
Though its just the fact that CES is next week and its the weekend so not much news popping off till then so the topic of the weekend is...this. Its hard to swallow and easy to rub in.

@ 19 we be saying wait till 2011 too PS3 got longevity where as 360 already be popping those viagra and tagging out leaving folks to upgrade to 720
MS strategy is a slow take over. 360 is great in some ways and not so great in others. Yet, MS is improving in the Industry.
They gathered a higher % of the market this gen then last gen and has a heavier presence and will stick around longer. They have 2-3 years before they launch a new console IMO.
They wont win in hardware sales #'s in the end this gen. They have penetrated the market well though and carved out a larger place in the pie. That place is 3rd say...
They still put Movies on UMD's Its actually a good product mini disc's that are protected and don't get scratched.
Wont have to worry about my FFVII crisis core getting scratched up like original FFVII discs did.
Factory sealed FFVII sells for like 400-$500 now days. Sony actually is doing its customers a favor.
If PSN has problems its not a biggy its a free service.... If your paying for a service which is free to other consumers and its being disrupted. You might want to petition to get that service for free.
Seriously 50 bucks for 5 years = $250 , Thats nearly the cost of a next gen system. I wonder why i pay for xbl all the time. Im almost at the point where I will cancel and just play SP games on 360 and leave the MP to PC/PS3.

They clearly expect to much dough from there customers for gimped service/hardware. I say it all the time I don't see why I pay for XBL. PC is free. PSN is free. Both stable. XBL unstable and charging your aS$.....
At least they offer a free xbl arcade game the first time but a second time. Stop defending them and petition them to quit charging for xbl.
Console manufacturers needs to take note of each other and work in harmony rather then try to compete so much.

I got a 360 b4 i got a ps3 or wii but knew way better then to touch that hd dvd drive with gloves it aint got nothing to give me.

There going to be surprised .... 08 will be bigger then 07. Hardware is going to move quicker in 08 due to lots of big titles , price cuts etc.
Starting in febuary there is at least 1-3 must have games scheduled to release every month for the next 6 months and more highly anticipated "system sellers" Seem to be aimed for next holiday season.
Good games move systems and the line-up's are looking like a diamond mine.
They did make a prototype 200 gb blu ray though. Its viable just not ready for prime time.
