MGS4/MGO alone made it the year of the PS3 IMO. Despite what people who don't play LBP or R2 think about those games. They are GOTY potential. The PS3 has been selling mighty well with out a price drop too. Honestly its going to come down to how Home gets handled this month if its delayed again sure its not PS3's year. When KZ2 was pushed into 09 and WKC only coming to japan this year its kind of a damper on PS3's 08 year I admit.

Im from North CA too, I rarely watch TV but I hardly ever see a playstation 3 ad. 360 is shown way more out here. were close to MS base here so..maybe thats why.

The issue is the car company's like ferrari in particular are hesitant to give the authorization for there cars to be wrecked in a driving simulator probably for fears of someone playing it and saying hmmm these other cars are a whole lot safer lol.

except for that part about it being built more for gaming then the ps3 that is not true imo. It was just built with a traditional chipset with a few modifications to bolster it. While the Ps3 was built for gaming its chipset and tech was advanced to carry it further into the future gaming was always in mind just because it can play HD movies does not mean sony forgot what they where building...

I agree with The Matrix but I own all consoles too yet I have a bias towards PS3 I can't help it. It just pleases me most for various reasons. That said 360 does have pros that PS3 lacks.
@ earwax , it is actually it was surpassed by wii with the quickness and PS3 is gaining on it with out a price cut.....that sounds like a struggle to me.
