Yeah your right. When Square merged with Enix they decided they would abandon there roots. And look what happened. In the past 33% of all Japanese sales where turn based RPG's. Now it is closer to 50% But Square is not enjoying the growth, because they are too busy trying to be western. Problem for us western rpgers are only a few odd Jrpgs are ported by Gust. Unless they are SURE no other games are coming out in December then they cant offer game of the year. But they are NOT sure, because two more are scheduled to come out this year for xbox one. This is why games of the year come out after the year is up. Not saying because the system is not out for a year.

I was just at walmart and the sales lady was telling this guy that the reason for the policy was because of Microsoft because there was so many secret defects, and secret problems. Was she a saleslady fanboy or has other people heard something like this from walmart? I know they got a shipment too it was announced earlier this week. Yeah China has the worlds largest population at 1.3 BILLION people. For reference USA has .312 billion people. In the past China was playstation loving but 13 years has went past since it was banned. Meaning there will be less loyalty to a brand. But still they Sony has more of the favored games than Microsoft has for Chinese.

Yeah when Microsoft announced that, I knew they where trying to get people to thinking everything was even in the race before people got the facts. They knew Sony was 'sand bagging'.
So Microsoft had to take the only angle they had. Because sand bagging means that in the future when company earnings come out, and they solidly beat revenue projections they will gain in market cap.

I agree I can't wait either. Even though we don't see the actual numbers the thing that is most impressive is it won both software, and hardware sales. So all the people saying there is nothing to play on PS4 (even though the games have higher ratings, and graphics) have been proven wrong!
