If he had of read the article he would have noticed that Nintendo OVER produced two of their last consoles, and had to stop production of them because of OVER production. Which is proof of the opposite of what these hate boys are saying. You can't reason with hate.

This article is talking about "TALKING" in ONE game SPLATOON 2. How is it going to kill momentum or stop Nintendo from taking online seriously? How many people are getting their phone/tablets to play spatoon 2 and that need to TALK to them when they switch to playing another game on the tablet (point being there is only ONE game on the tablet from Nintendo splatoon 2).

I agree with you about his prediction history. We need to remember he is a analyst. And a big part of his job is to create a price drop, or price increase. Most people forget that. He may have been predicting something he did NOT believe to get the little guy to sell Nintendo so his client can get some cheap stock. He has a innocent looking face and sounding voice but he is a ANALYST. ut oh.
Most people don't know that If you get a 4k tv and the source(console) is putting out 1080p it will upscale it to 4k. Even though it will not look as good as a 4k game, it will still give you some benefit to get a 4k tv.
Metroid, yoshi, rabbin rabits. pokemon. Plus a few more in the next few months to early next year. All AAA titles and system sellers.
Nintendo was initially going to make 8 million (which is 500 thousand more than xbox one is selling per year so far 4 years divided into 30 million). But Nintendo increased production to 16 million THIS YEAR.
With Mario odyssey coming (think GRAND THEFT MARIO). And Metroid, and Other major releases this year I can see how they don't sell all those machines.

Anyway, Nintendo was INITIALLY making 8 million for this year and during a stock holder meeting announced they will increase production to make 16 million this year (which is legally binding). So I'm sure that they will pass 7.5 million.

Crazy thing is Apple is known for highend components. This means Nintendo is using the same high end components but all the haters want to ignore that and try to say the SWITCH (which is sronger then my high end SAMSUNG tablet) breaks easy. Even the Wiiu screen was like a tank.
Actually they set out to make 8 million in first year....then after 1 month made a investor commitment to manufacturer 16 million which is twice as many. So I say Micheal is being captain obvious, because Microsoft is not selling 16 million a year.
Sounds like a game that is all about graphics. Now if Horizon zero dawn was not the best looking game I have ever seen I can still say it would be a awesome game. Don't get me wrong I am a graphics junkie but I need something that is good enough of a game to stand on it's gameplay.

@death is Sounds reasonable, your math is right. BUT, there are already people that wait until prices come down before buying the consoles. Guess what will happen if we went to a 3 year new console release.
With graphics at the level they are Even my graphics greedy eyes I may be tempted to wait if they are releasing every 3 years. This can backfire, to the point that we no longer have as big a market as we do.
