Loving games, loving life.

Dude... I meant as a cheap alternative to the NEXT generation of consoles.

You'd have to be an imbecile to think that the Wii isn't crushing everything else right now. Of course it is!

I love the accusation that I "hate" the Wii, considering my picture is of a Mii. REALLY, NOW?

Back on topic, I think the Wii will operate like the PS2 did this generation. It will still continue to sell moderately well in the NEXT CONSOLE GENERATION as an alte...

I guess I never really thought that those two comments worked together.

Of course, I think Reggie has a tendency to "cover up" the things Iwata blurts out, but maybe they are on the same page.

I also thought that the new Zelda, and kinda still do, will come out in 2011. But what do I know?

Don't worry, you're not alone in that thought.

I see no point in hating any game company or system AT ALL. They are video games, they're fun, they're exciting, they're artistic, there's a reason I spend day in and day out thinking about them and loving them.

And the Wii is no exception. If we keep throwing away the potentially great things about motion control and keep sticking to what we know, it will not advance any further.

In the same respect, if w...

I'm not sure everyone quite "gets" the Wii crowd.

That very same Wii crowd actually DOES have a tendency to have HD TVs in their houses. I think those two things are completely separate from one another.

In fact, every person/family I know that has a Wii (all families included brings that number close to 20) all have HD TVs, and most do not have a 360/PS3.

I don't think that install base makes the connection between the Wii's limited graphics ...

What I meant is that they'll announce a console this year, when the timing is right, not just Reggie jumping out right away.

I think the Wii is unique in that it may not be hurt that bad by a new console announcement, if it's WELL known that the new system isn't coming for some time. I could see the Wii being more like the PS2 and sticking around into the next console generation as a cheap alternative.

Even if the console isn't released until 2011/2012, I bet we'll hear some news about it this year.

You know, it never seems to matter what the story is about, I think Reggie just likes downplaying everything.

Two things:

1) I can't imagine a drunken 86 year-old getting a perfect score in Wii Sports bowling.

2) Are you "the best in the world at what you do?" I dig the pic.

I think it requires that you're on the roof of your house to use it, right?

Literally, was he playing WoW? I can't imagine many other games that people would be playing for days on end.

That's what I call a "hardcore" gamer. Pretty stupid though.

So if it's about catering to the Wii's expanded audience, does that mean Microsoft is using Natal to just play catch-up to Nintendo?

See, if that's all it's about, then I don't care how advanced the technology seems for Natal. It just isn't that innovative to me if it's a "me too" device.

Is it just me, or are there even any "greatest hits" for Nintendo platforms in the US?

I don't remember seeing any platinum hits or anything this generation. They rarely drop the prices on first party titles.

I think getting a perfect score is pretty difficult in Wii Sports bowling.

We all know that if it were just buttons, we could dial it up to be perfect almost every time. But motion controls aren't that precise. So it takes a lot of practice to get that precision down, which gramps here seems to be doing good at.

I think he's talking about motion controls in general.

You're still right, doesn't have much to do with it.

Perfectly said. I was joking, of course. I've played Wii Sports a ton, and I've never gotten a single perfect game that I can remember.

I could totally bowl a bunch of perfect games if that's all I did every day.

I've used CTA Digital's past Wii shotgun, it was decent quality, the barrel and handle were removable. But it just felt pointless depending on the game.

I guess I really like the Wii Zapper, it is pretty comfy. I can't imagine that being comfy at all. Games are played for at least 20 minutes to an hour. Typically you hold a gun in that kind of position for a much shorter amount of time.

Controllers should be more about comfort, especially with plastic shells that...

What is this even good for? The 10+ rail shooters on the Wii?

All I know is, I wish I had THAT scope for Duck Hunt back in the day.

Don't get me wrong, I love the Phoenix Wright games. It's just that this game was originally a GBA game. Then Capcom ported it (in a fantastic way) to the DS. Now to WiiWare.

Is this original enough? I kinda think that Capcom should be putting at least a bonus ORIGINAL trial in the WiiWare game that is suited to the Wii, like what they did when they ported it to the DS.

Although, $10 is a pretty sweet price for a great game. I just hope this helps the series bec...

All I know is I better pick this up soon, if that blog is reliable and this is actually as it sounds.
