- Tank control is very logical decision from classic survival horror era. Tank control can slowly build the tense when you outrun multiple zombies or more faster enemies like Hunter, Dogs, or the Tyrant. Not to mention the old RE still using pre-rendered background with static camera. If you removed tank control than the scary element will decreased a lot.
Outlast is different because it's the modern survival horror with 1st person view. You can't compare it with clas...

In Overture, Sol and Baiken already tried to attack THAT MAN and both got defeated easily. Also, THAT MAN had three servants and so far we only know one of them (Raven). So i think there still a long way until we fight THAT MAN.

I think you will enjoy this game a lot mate. There's two playable character in this game: Chris and Jill. Both of them have their own plus and minus (Chris can take more damaged than Jill, but Jill have lockpick and more slot to bring items than Chris). Also, there's multiple ending for both characters.
One tips from me:
if you find a magnum than don't use it except for the final boss. With magnum, you can finished the final boss more easy compare to oth...

If some people think they already play the game and don't have enough reason to buy it again than DON'T BUY IT. No one force them anyway.
But other people who wants to feel nostalgic again with updated graphic, people who lost their collection (like me), or people who never play / don't have a clue about Resident Evil series (obviously there are a lot of new gamer who started on gaming from this gen) will have...
And Legend of Mana & Tactics Ogre. But i already bought Legend of Mana, so this time maybe i will get Front Mission 3, FF IV/VI, and Lions of the War...
Anyway, i still confused why SE not put Brave Fencer Musashi, Ehrgeiz, Saga Frontier 1 & 2, and Einhander as PS1 classic. I'm sure a lot of people want to play them again.
Sony have nothing to do with this. You should wait more info from Aksys if this LE will come to NA or not. The game itself still on schedule for NA this fall.
It's a remaster, not a remake

As expected because MGS series is really popular with PS fans compare to Xbox fans.
But i hope Kojima / Konami not doing this again with any of their games. I can't tolerate selling a piece of demo for a high price. That's why i'm not buying GZ because i don't wanna help this practice to be popular with other company.
If the game have an option to change the sub/menu into english than i will import this from playasia.
It doesn't need a reboot. Just put a new main character (a civillian without kung-fu acrobatic skill) that has nothing to do with Umbrella / Raccoon City / BSAA, a new setting like an island full with zombies and all those horrible experiment, some cameo from a character that not overused (example like Rebecca Chambers), bring back puzzles and limited ammo / herb, and put a RE 7 logo. Job done.
Personally i doesn't fully agree with a reboot. It's a double edge swo...

WiiU is backward compatible. Just buy a copy of Wii ver of RE remake and play it on your WiiU. Problem solved.
Hopefully it's not digital only. I have crappy ISP and downloading 9 Gig+ needs two or three days. Beside, i can't display the game next to my RE collection :(
