Wow i'm glad Tales of Xillia 2 can made it to the top 10. It's better than the 1st one and i hope more people play it.
Anyway, i'm waiting for this edition of Diablo 3. But too bad i already bought Xillia 2. Hopefully next month i have the time and money to get this game.
Not most imho. If we're looking at SE, Capcom, Konami, or Sega than yes they are the shell of their former selves.
But if we're talking about Atlus, NIS, Falcom, Koei-Tecmo-Gust, Arc System Works, Namco, From Soft, Nintendo, SCE Japan, Level 5, or Vanillaware than no. Those companies still made high quality games just like the old days.
In fact, a couple of 'newcomer' like Spike Chunsoft, P* Games, Silicon Studio, Q-Games, or Comcept made som...
Dude, can i use 'Butt Boobs Bananas' for my shop? It sounds catchy and i'm sure it will bring tons of profit for my shop >:D
Don't worry, she's 22

Yeah i remembered and it bring back some good memories when i played MGS 1 & FF VIII together with my friends on PS1. We're laughing when Psycho Mantis reading our save files or trying to figure out Meryl's code (it's on the back of the case!).
Now we're getting old. Some of my friends already married and have kids, while the other are busy with their works. So they decided to quit their gaming hobby. Sigh...i wonder if i will quit my gaming hobby too... ...
I thought KoF XIII had a decent netcode
I'm not surprised if that giant spider isn't the last boss.
Looking at Demon & Dark Souls, i'm sure it will have co-op and PvP. But Miyazaki said his trying new things that will make Bloodborne MP unique compare to Demon / Dark Souls.
- Toshinden

- TMNT: Tournament Fighters
- Star Gladiator
- Samurai Spirits
- Fatal Fury
- Art of Fighting

Hopefully, fighting genre will be back like the old days again. Don't get me wrong, right now i'm satisfied with Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, Persona 4 Ultimate, USF IV, Tek...
There are a couple of that on the 1st one and i don't mind heheh
I wonder when will we see a new KoF or Fatal Fury...
If you want to see MGS 1 remake just play Twin Snakes or MGS 4 - act 4.
But i agreed with Omar91 up there. Kojima need to remake Metal Gear 1 & 2. I mean, the story after Phantom Pain are took place when young Solid Snake infiltrated Zanzibar & Outer Heaven and 'killed' Big Boss. So, it would be cool to watch Solid Snake fighting Gray Fox or Big Boss with that beautifull fox engine.
I still have 19.786.000 gald to pay. Poor Ludger indeed >.<
But now there's more elite monster to kill and they drop a lot of gald + exp. I wonder what i got if i can pay all Ludger debt...
Yeah it's working again, but i'm playing Tales of Xillia 2 all day reducing Ludger's debt. So yeah not really a problem to me :)
I love the 1st one so this is a automatic buy for me. Hopefully NISA will bring Another Episode too.
"But after that there's nothing"
No, there's a lot to look for:
- Oreshika
- Demon Gaze 2
- Danganronpa 2
- Hotaru no Niki
- Murasaki Baby
- Tales from the Borderlands
- Oddworld: New & Tasty
- Samurai Warriors 4
- Gravity Rush 2
- The Wolf Among Us
- The Walking Dead season 2
etc
I owned both Vita and 3DS and this year i bought more ...
"Some mechanics still found in recent games like Ni Nu Kuni feel antiquated or even archaic"
I can say the same for any games from any genre
"or at least have a skip tutorial option"
A lot of JRPG's this days have the option to skip tutorial. Some recent example are Tales of Xillia 2 and Bravely Default.
@Revengeance
Yeah, CIA had a lot of talented staff. I hope they can reach their mid 2015 release.
@kalkano
When did you see the REAl gameplay of Project Phoenix? So far they only showed the concept art.
Seriously, now i'm not sure if you really like JRPG genre. So far your post only bash the genre and talked rubish about titles that still in developement.
"I love JRPGs, and Bravely Second is the only game I'm even slightly interested in"
Well, it's your loss then
I myself never judge some games too critical because it will limit my experiences, especially for games that i'm not yet play it with my own hands.
"Wake me up when they get back to physical releases of turn-based games with respectable production value (PS2-ish) on consoles"
Most of th...
Well, why not? We are gamers and we want to have fun with games that fit our taste. Just like some people who wants to take a break from playing GTA, TloU, Dark Souls, or AAA games and they see games like Oneechanbara fit their taste or other word: it's their guilty pleasure.
This is not different from us watching B-movies or reading books full with cliche story because you need a little break from movies / books that have serious themes.
