Too true. I've followed video game more than 20 years and played a lot of amazing singleplayer games with linier style.
But suddenly, started from this gen or last gen, some gaming media, gamers, and also devs/pubs like Ubisoft trying to shove the idea that every game need to be open world and linier game are crap. I still don't understand the reason why they started this agenda.
The author doesn't do any research when it's obvious all PS+ user have cloud saves. But yeah "fvck it!" says the author. He just wrote it because he knew this will bring dozens of hits for his site.

I very reccomend Ishin for Yakuza fans. Imho, it is the best Yakuza i ever played. Especially when all Yakuza 1-5 cast, antagonist and protagonist, are present in Ishin, but they took different name & personality (even Kiryu got some new personality and it looks fresh).
Anyway, i heard Sega will try to localize Yakuza 0 but only for asia version. Gonna import the game if it's true...

1) Last year MS ALMOST COMPLETELY ABANDON 360, where Sony pouring a lot of 1st party exclusive for PS3 (GOW: Ascension, Sly Cooper, TloU, Beyond 2 Souls, Pupeteer, Rain, GT6, etc). But why i didn't see you complaining MS at that time???

Rather than give FF 13 a second play, PC gamers should put their money on Valkyria Chronicles. For me, VC is far above FF 13 in terms of story, gameplay, music, content, and replay value. The graphic also beautifull, but i knew some people doesn't like anime style and it could be a turn off for them.
Yeah me too. Valkyria Chronicles (along with Resonance of Fate, Ni no Kuni, and Nier) are new IP that became my fav RPG's on PS3. The DLC, Selvaria Mission and Edy Mission, are worth buying too. There also a DLC for new difficulty called Hard EX mode where you can play without the tank.
About VC3, just like square-enix with FF Type-0 on PSP/vita, sega (and SE) is a dumbass :(
Good for PC gamers. If you love tactical-RPG than you absolutely will love this game.
But hopefully, sega will make an HD collection of Valkyria Chronicles for PS4/vita...and localize it of course.

The game itself doesn't focus on speed of making combos such as DMC or Bayonetta where you need to make dozens of combos without restriction (Souls series and Bloodborne have stamina gauge to run, dodge, and attack) to kill the enemies.
Not to mention Bloodborne world is bigger, like a semi open world, and the...

Yes, i got this problem too. But it still very playable, unlike Blighttown in Dark Souls 1.

What eyedevour mean is open world. Bayonetta, NG, DMC are not as free as Bloodborne where you can eksplore or back to the previous area anytime you want.
Also, Bayonetta, NG, DMC all focus on speed and combos like fighting games. 60 fps is a must for games like them. But 30 fps isn't a problem for games like Bloodborne, as long they make it stable when there a lot of enemies in one screen.

Persona 4 Golden, Freedom Wars, Gravity Rush, Tearaway, YS Celceta, UC: Golden Abyss, Danganronpa, Muramasa Rebirth, Dragon's Crown, Toukiden, Soul Sacrifice, and Tales of Hearts R are some amazing vita games atop of my head that more people must play it.
Personally, i even more enjoyed playing games like The Walking Dead, Hotline Miami, and Guacamelee on my vita compare playing them on my PS3 (can't wait to get my copy of WD season ...
