Errr...there's Vita ver for PASBR, Jax HD, MLB, and Sly Cooper. Also Uncharted: GA is build exclusively for Vita. Those games came from SCEA, right?
But i think they're in the 'test the water' mode and still looking what new IP that really good for Vita users in usa.
Yeah, combine A+B artes are f*kin awesome! It's so addictive that i can spend hours only in combat (collosseum) when playing Graces f :3
@adorie
Hey, it's nice to see fellow Destiny fans in here ^^ . My first Tales is Destiny on PS1. Really love it and still hoping if Namdai will localize Destiny 1 & 2 from PS2. Or put Destiny PS1 on PSN.
Btw, my fav Tales: Destiny 1, Abyss, Graces f, and Xillia.
I used flamethrower in mp. It's good to kill two or three enemies in one shoot if you know the right timing. But if you don't, than flamethrower is preety useless in mp.
Already picked up the day one edition. I loved the link system, even though it's a bit stiff compare to Graces f battle system. But the story is better than Graces f. Especially the anime cutscenes that i think is the best cutscenes in Tales series. Now i knew why Namdai choose Ufotable over Production I.G to work the anime cutscenes.

"- Japanese gamers don't play western games that much. Nobody in Japan is getting hyped for Battlefield 4, Killzone Shadowfall, and Halo.
- The Last of Us launched in Japan and it's not even over 140K"
FYI, The Last of Us total sales in japan right now is about 180k-190k and it's still selling. And 118k in 1st week for The Last of Us sales in japan is preety high by japan standard. Not many japanese gam...
Agree with you. Best selling Tales, which is Tales of Destiny 2 or Tales of Symphonia only got one or two millions copies sold (cmiiw). But both tittles gave a big profit for Namco. It's obvious Namco never put high cost when making Tales series.
And yeah, i remember PS2, PS3, Wii, Vita, and NDS sales got a strong bump when Namco release a new Tales for those platform. So a new Tales for PS4 is a must if Sony wants PS4 got some nice sales in japan.
That's why i think it's useless to separate RPG into two side of coin: JRPG and WRPG. Cause we will always end up debating which is the best, rather than enjoying them. So the best way to enjoy RPG is to ignore where / who created them and try to judge the game after we play it by ourself.
And this year there's a lot of high quality RPG to play, especially from japan, such as Fire Emblem, SMT IV, Tales of Xillia, Ni no Kuni, Dragon's Crown, etc.
@Baka
Don't forget Dragon Age 2 or Fable 3. I think it turn's out a joke like Diablo 3. The only good WRPG for me this gen are The Witcher, Deus Ex, and Fallout 3.
@dcj0524
Valkyria Chronicles, Nier, Disgaea, Fire Emblem: Awakening, SMT IV, Etrian Oddsey, and many more.
Yeah, it's been a year since Sega release Y5 and this year they only released Yakuza HD collection for WiiU. With PS4, they can made bigger town than Y5.
@Bigpappy
King's Field series is JRPG, created by From Soft, the predecessor of Demon/Dark Souls, and it's been as long as the Ultima series. Even though heavily inspired by western RPG such as Ultima, but From Soft can made King's Field unique and different from WRPG.
Agree with Miyamoto. There's also Disgaea 3-4, Valkyria Chronicles, Nier, Persona 4, SMT IV, Fire Emblem: Awakening, etc. Surely those JRPG doesn't represent the word 'worse'.
And 'Moe/little kawaii girl' style already been on JRPG since long long ago. So why complain it now? If you don't like it than that style obviously not for you.
I play as Milla at the start. She's cool with her sword artes and summon :D
@fsfsxii
Well, i knew Hideo Baba said that but he never ruled out Tales for other consoles. And Tales series got history with Nintendo consoles (Tales of Phantasia, Symphonia, Graces, Innocence, Heart). I think he will make, at least two exclusive tittle for Nintendo consoles or maybe a multiplat with PS console.
@Kennytaur
Namco rarely localize Tales for handheld. Only Tales of Eternia for PSP, Tales of the World: Radiant Myth for PSP, and T...
Recent polls show gamer in japan really interested with PS4, but not with XB1. And Hideo Baba said people who wants to play Tales series are mostly gamer who had Playstation console. So he never ruled out Tales for PS4.
Besides, like the record said, Namco never push the envelope with Tales series, unlike Square with FF series. So Namco don't have to push the envelope (realistic graphic and all bell & whistles) with Tales on PS4. And the cost to develope games in PS4...
3 tittles so my prediction one for PS4, one for PS3/Vita, and one for 3DS/WiiU.
You can start here. The battle system preety friendly for newcomer. But if you want to check other Tales, i'll suggest Graces f or Abyss.
Nope, there's no rumour for a new Wild Arms. It's just my wild prediction as a fans >.<
Btw, i reccomend you to get Wild Arms 2 and Wild Arms XF on PSN. The story and gameplay are much better than the 1st one imho. But i still love the 1st game as a masterpiece, especially that opening music.
They will keep that for TGS, along with Dark Cloud 3, Wild Arms 6, and Legend of Dragoon remake...hopefully.
In my 1st playtrough, i can't beat the red dragon if i pass it when it sleep. I always cornered to the section when it fall down from the bridge. So i tried to do some damage to the red dragon when it sleep, escape from the room, and beat it before the bridge section. It works. Maybe some people tried the same way like me and apply it when they're playing online.
