Well, looking at how 'awesome' Yakuza HD sold on WiiU, i believe that will not happen. But maybe Sega will make it multiplats. Who knows? 3rd party exclusive became more rare this days...

Well, the 1st side who abandoned Sega and Yakuza series is western gamers. If Yakuza 4 and Dead Souls sold very good, than i'm sure Sega will localize Yakuza 5 and HD collection. But no, western gamer choose to stuck with their CoD year after year.

Falcom is a small company who don't have man power / money to use cell-shading, yet. And this is the 1st time they try to do a full 3D model for Legend of Heroes game.
But if you ask that kind of question, than surely you never play Falcom games / don't know Falcom history when they always focus for story, gameplay, and music above graphics. If you really care about graphics, than right now Falcom games isn't for you.
Foxgod, where have you been all this time? Suikoden series already dead, along with Contra, DDR, ZoE, and some Konami franchise. This day, Konami only making Metal Gear, Pro Evolution, Pro Yakyu Spirits (baseball game), Castlevania, and Love Plus. That's the only franchise that made them money.

In japan, yes, it's sell very good (300k include digital ver). They sold out everywhere and only last week they can re-stock more retail copies. Even Vita (and PS3) version still in the top ten chart of media create / famitsu.
I don't mind if they don't put bell & whistles for graphics in their game. Because i will play it if they have great story, gameplay, and music. Just like me who still play classic RPG such s FF IX, Alundra, Chrono Trigger, etc over game like Skyrim.
Besides, just look at recent release like SMT IV, Fire Emblem Awakening, Tales of Xillia, or Dragon's Crown. They don't have realistic graphic like The Witcher or Mass Effect. But i'm sure in the coming ye...
