Will I be able to enjoy this. I want it so bad but so afraid it will just make no sense.

I think its as good as the first one . . . it's just the same game. People expect something new from games. I really don't see how you could evolve the game any more. Some games are just one dimensional.
I still think its great fun, it's not a dis. Just saying.
Anyway, I will say it again. I will not get this no matter how great it is unless it is compatible with rock band instruments. Asking me to store tons of fake guitars and drums is ridiculous and impracticable.
I want Square to love PS3 more. Even 360 more. I just love seeing Final Fantasy games with amazing graphics that help make the story have more of an impact.
Hah, I think this article is a little ridiculous. There are always going to be basement bands. If anything it could be helpful by getting people interested in music.
I have friends who spend all their money on recording cd's and playing shows and they are terrible, but every basement band is convinced they are going to make it big. May be this could distract them as a cheaper alternative?
I don't see why it's taken them so long to understand this. Did they never pay attention to CD sales after each guitar hero was released. However, I have one complaint. I want some free stuff. Give us a free song every now and then. It's good marketing.

I don't think the Wii should be reviewed by gamers. Nintendo has made it very clear who they are working for now.

what a terrible rebuttle man. These nintendo games have 10 and 20 iterations. Those games you listed are sequals with new stories and updated graphics ands stuff. You dont see Metal Gear Baseball, Metal Gear Soccer, Metal Gear Tennis, etc. You get my point?

I speak as a gamer who has been around gaming for a long time. Not as a casual whose Wii as his first console. Yeah, its selling alot. Most people who are getting the Wii are playing this stuff for the first time. Its completely different for me.

I think you may be on to something Silogon. However, I do believe its just harder for games from what a ton is expected. Ninja Gaiden kinda ruined its WOW factor by showing its muscle on PS3. If you would have skipped the PS3 port and let Ninja Gaiden 2 be the series first next gen outing, there may have been more happy reviewers.
