What would be the point of that? The reason PS3 uses blu ray is because games are too big for DVD. What would be the point of choosing a game on blu ray that fits on dvd?
How expensive will it be though. If a 360 is 350$ without blu ray, I don't even wanna know what they will charge with Blu Ray. What if they put Wifi in it too? Ouch.

I have no need to upgrade my 360 to Blu Ray because games will never be Blu Ray for 360, they will always be on DVD. Thankfully, I will not be angry that I didn't hold out for this.

I was going to buy Portal on Steam last week. I decided to wait till Sunday and look at the ads. Sure enough, Portal was 10$ at Circuit City (which I bought). Portal was still 20$ on steam. Digital distribution seems to allow monopolies on game prices. Unless all stores offer digital distribution and the in-store sales and deals will spill over into the digital world.

Rent for a $1.50? In my opinion, the arguement that Blu Ray Discs are too expensive is invalid with cheap most blu ray's selling for 20$ or less on amazon. Now if they can just come out with an affordable player.

When you have two consoles that can virtually achieve the same games . . . I think buying exclusive is a must. How else do you set yourself apart. First party exclusives were enough to persuade me to buy a 360 and a PS3 but that wont convince others. Look how important the third party exclusive MGS4 has become to Sony.
