I agree with you but i do not think Sony has this feature on their operating system. Otherwise games on Pro would not be having execution issues.

There are no more generations for the XBOX. In fact, there is no more XBOX. Microsoft turned it into a PC, thanks to its operating system. Microsoft may use any future hardware technology. M$ can launch a new "console" every year if it wants. It's a good strategy but it will leave users of the older version very upset. Sony can not do the same because its OS does not automatically adapt to different hardware. Maybe if Sony adopted Vulkan as API ...
You are wrong. Manufacturers of consoles do not profit from hardware, they profit from software. When Sony decided to use a VR device there were none in the market. So Sony had to raise it. Now there are options, more powerful and more expensive. I believe that in the next generation Sony will use a VR device already on the market. Probably the same as Microsoft uses.
