MS has not done anything good in a long time. It has become increasingly irrelevant to the gamer community except when it threatens to harm players who do not even play in XB.
The problem is not the digital distribuition, it is the subscription for a package of games. Many people have XB just for their few exclusives. If retailers can not profit on this, they will abandon the XB brand once and for all. And no, this is not the end of the retailers but third parties may find difficult to sell their games on XB and also abandon the platform. MS is hurting itself.

I had no problem with PSN in those two weeks. It's funny how a problem affects some users and others don't. But undeniably this is shameful for Sony. What's the use of spending lots of money on business deals if the game's producers need to use the competitor's service?
