Yeah, gaffyh. The competition has been a really good thing for both PS3 and 360. When you have to companies competing for our dollars like these two are, it's always the consumer that wins.
Exclusive content is one thing but timed exclusive content is another.
I bought my TV from BestBuy, that was a black friday deal, online. So go online and see what they have. I think "doorbusters" are the only deals they definitely only have available at the stores. But remember to go online at midnight because they'll sell out quick if they are offered online.

For the most part the play style isn't suited for each map. But there are some maps that are suited for snipers and others that are not.
I didn't say there was a lot of series' that do this. People love COD, that's why there's different teams working on two year cycles. Other games don't do this because they don't have the demand that COD has. People want that signiture COD gameplay. And if they're willing to buy it every year or every other year, what's wrong with that? If it's not your cup of tea, don't drink it. There's no need to get angry over it.
This business model has existed for a long time now. It's not new to gaming, it's not new to anything.

What, confuses me is that people want more innovation yet they are calling for the game to be more like COD4, which wouldn't be innovating at all.
It's "inferior" because it's more arcady. They're two different games with different play styles.

Well, COD doesn't try to be as "sim" as BF.
That's obviously too hard for a lot of people on here.
One thing you'll have to remember is that nothing will ever compare to "the good old days." WHy? Because you were probably a lot younger and easier to impress then, than you are now. At least that's the case for me. That doesn't mean I don't enjoy the games i've been playing because I do. It's just as I get older I enjoy deeper stories and deeper gameplay. And that's something I didn't really care about when I was younger. Regardless of all that...
I think gamers do complain too much. A lot of the focus this gen has been more about competition between consoles, games or graphics to really focus on the actual game. And it's too bad because a lot of people hate games without giving them a chance.
My only complaint is that so far it's a lil too easy.
But it's on teh internetz! Must be true!
The lighting, whether it's the best out there or not, is definitely better that the past two GEARS titles.
And yet, no one is forced to buy it.
