I'm willing to bet that they will eventually start to sell them without kinect. Moreso now that it doesn't have to be plugged in. My guess is they'll wait and see how it sells and come next year if it's not selling as well as the PS4, you'll most likely see the kinect-less xbone.
It's a game, they can make anything work if they work hard enough.
COD Ghosts and Black Ops have different developers, so they both have 2 years of development.

It was a smart money making decision, that's why they did it. It gave consumers a cheap alternative while at the same time, a lot of those consumers ended up spending the money for the hard drive further down the line.

I was strictly speaking of the info they contain. Magazines are too slow, people want the info now, that's why magazines are a dying breed.
Why buy a magazine when all the information is online for free? It sucks but it's a sign of the times.
