I bought RE at launch and still haven't played. *sad face*
could've saved $20. Oh well.
theres no way they were going to send this game to die with Infinite Warfare. You'd be wrong if you thought everyone interested in MW would be interested in IW. Though, I can definitely see people enjoying MW so much that they would buy IW just to get the game -which is why they packaged them originally.
Problem is, I think there are very few players that WANT MW and IW. People buying IW want to play IW, people who buy just MW want to play MW. The online community woul...
Hey bud! Are you beast?
Sony has been awesome at delaying all their games lately. Hopefully they stop putting dates on their titles.
The Last Guardian isn't a game I'm dying for, so the delay isn't a big deal. But, man does this make Sony look bad at keeping their developers on track to meet their release dates. Not saying the delay is a bad thing, if it fixes even one game breaking glitch, then it's a good delay.
Agreed, paid DLC perks and weapons is what pushed my group away. Played recently and still cannot stand that crossbow.
@author, the game is like 3 years old, no wonder no one is playing it. I completed my journeys on both ps3 and ps4 (3 times between 2 accounts, 2 ps3, 1 ps4). Collectively, I probably have about 400 "weeks" - so 2,800 matches.
I mean, it's not even a direct competition.
I bet money that Microsoft delays Scorpio. I think the rumors about PS4 neo forced MIcrosoft's hand at E3. They wanted their fans to know that they werent going to be left behind by the "4k capable, super-extra powered PS4 neo."
Phil Spencer and Microsoft made a commitment thinking that Neo was launching this year and was going to be capable of playing super graphics in 4k (what a nasty rumor)....
@mikeslemonade, Really? I'm a die hard PS4 fan and an Xbox One (day 1-ish) owner. Originally, I'd agree with your statement about "no exclusive." But, if you look back on it now, the Xbox One has a lot of exclusives. Specifically, multiplayer - one specifically that has longevity (Halo) and one soon to be released that will also have legs (Gears of War 4).
Last year, if I follow the industry as well as I think I do, PS4 didn't have ANY 1-st party exclu...
hey guys, ps+ is going up $10 per year and this is still a thing....
PSN has ads too. Currently has a "Bic Flex 5" on the front page of the playstation 4 store. -A razor for shaving.
man, if they did this it would be a major mic-drop moment. I don't see it happening though.
It would literally crap all over Sony.
The thing is, I own both consoles. For the last 3 years, I've primarily played on PS4 when it came to online multiplayer - the games ran better and it was a cheaper subscription. So, after the first year of Xbox One, I let my subscription for XBL lapse. When Gears Of War Ultimate Edition released, I bought a 3 month renewal - then let it lapse again and haven't re-subscribed since.
Now that the subscription is the same price and games are mostly on par between both...
Pc is always an alternative. If enough people were outraged by paying for online and jumped ship to PC, I guarantee Xbox LIve and PS+ miraculously wouldn't be required to play online.
@EONJAY, the disagrees is because you're too Optimistic. We'll likely see the same pattern of PS+ titles (mostly titles the general Playstation population have never even heard of - indie games) with the occasional game that is absolutely worth a download. So far, this year, I can ...
There is no good way to put it. They have seemingly done nothing with the money we've already given them. They don't seem to provide dedicated servers for their 1st party multiplayer, their servers are unreliable (had my ps4 deactivate itself on the website and can no longer use my content offline - I definitely was not "hacked"), the games that PS+ offer have been pretty lukewarm, nothing to rave about.
There is literally no excuse to raise the price. Thi...
lol, no surprise that the 1st response in the comments is - "people still play destiny?"
I literally laugh at folks who share that point of view. I thought the game was weak during Year 1 - quit playing after clearing Vault of Glass on Hard a few times (reached level 30 on my titan, 29 on both Hunter and Warlock). I knew the game was hot trash, but kept playing it.
When TTK released and all my friends were playing it and nagging me to play with ...
wouldn't the fact that they're small make your statement less true? A delay wouldn't cost the publisher so much since there are less employees that are on the clock during the delay.
I'm not sure if your statement is true, about respawn being a small studio, but if it's true then my statement has to be true. It's cheaper to delay a game of a smaller team than it is to delay a game of a huge studio (depending on why you're delaying), it's jus...
what is that thing on the left? It announces some spoilers for Bioshock Infinite, so I wouldn't watch if you're sensitive to spoilers.
Give that person a shirt that fits, god damn.
well, Battlefield is amazing when it works.
Battlefield 4 wasnt the only game at PS4/XB1 launch that suffered from crashing. In fact, I don't think I played a game at launch that didn't crash.
Battlefront (Dice's most recent game on consoles) has never crashed on me for PS4. I'm confident that DICE has managed to wrap their head around what caused the crashing in Battlefield 4. The only games I ever experience crashes on are Remasters. Mo...
man, I didn't know they were doing sign-ups. I really would like to try this game, though I'll most likely buy it no matter what (game looks fantastic).
Only one of 3 games I plan on buying Day 1 this Holiday.
1. Mafia 3
2. Battlefield 1
3. South Park (still undecided on day 1, but most likely).
Seems like every week Sony has a big release, they don't put anything worthwhile on sale. It's probably a viable strategy. Sadly, I'm not into No Man's Sky - not a real big space guy.
I didn't see Coffin Dodgers when I looked at the store this morning. That games supposedly a super easy platinum for you trophy guys looking to up your trophy count.
I'll buy MW when it becomes available digitally on the PS store. It's inevitable to be a stand alone game. They're just not going to release MW against IW because it makes no sense to compete with themselves.
Even if it never becomes standalone, I'll just buy the "IW Super digital deluxe" in a PS sale over Christmas for about $60 which happens just about every year. Got burned on Ghosts, AW, Black Ops 3 game+season pass... I will not be fooled agai...
