Kinect this generation is an experiment. It was a brilliant move to have the it rely on the xbox's hardware instead of the camera itself. Why? Because when the new xbox is realeased in 2011-2012, the camera's will still be useable on the new machine, and will be more like what they want it to be. Chances are they would have a dedicated CPU in the new xboxs for kinect alone, or at least a dedicated core on the 8-12 core CPU.

I had no idea that was happening! I thought studios would have steered clear but I guess as long as they maintain a reaonable tax structure, than there is no reason for software developpers not to go! (however, how is the cost of living over there?)

A few years ago , i went to universal studios in california. The guy on the tour kart ride thing said they were making a fourth one when we drove by the set of the 2nd one. Im still pissed to this day that he lied to me. I WANT JURASSIC PARK 4!
but would it be possible for them to offer a "classic" mode? aka. have a playlist that turns off all power ups, restricts loadouts to assault riffle and pistol, etc. I think it would be a great way to keep the old feel of the halo games!
