I dont think he means it will be at the same price as a consol, but saying that it will have a price change structure similar to that of a console. eg. It will start off at 150 dollars and 6 months later drop to 50. (maybe with a 50$ rebate on top of that if the "slim eye toy " is successful... if u know what i mean) and just have a progressive price point reduction.
I personally know a good 25 people or more with xbox 360s, some with 2 or 3 units ( divorced parents/cabins/even several rooms in the house) and i have only witnessed one red ring of death. These xboxs come from all across Canada ( Victoria, Calgary, Toronto, Montreal). Maybe its the fact that we live in igloos up here so it keeps them nice and cold...

I bought into THQ pre-earnings (cuz of the UFC sales boost) and it tanked... If this gives it a good boost , im out. Its actually funny cuz I bought into TTWO pre GTAIV 2 weeks before EA made the offer... If this happens i really have to thank EA :D
Europe, Canada, and most other places that use xx/zz/yy format will place it dd/mm/yy... even amercain comapanies use the dd/mm/yy format sometimes... and really its way more logical to do a progressive time series of order... i mean what moron decided mm/dd/yy was a good way to do it... (maybe the same guy who inverted the axis in the economics graphing of q and p... )
I honestly find these percentages hard to believe... In my experience , ive only had one friend whos xbox has rrod'! I know probs 25 or so people who have 360s so one out of 25 is pretty good! Maybe canadian xboxes are made with some super secret manufacturing process to make it withstand the xtream weather variatuions... but honestly 16% or less is believeable to me... (plz excuse my typing, as i am slightly wasted right now! ) good night to all :D

I don't know if Canadian Xbox 360s were made with super-strength soldering but i dont know a single person whose xbox has RRd and off the top of my head i can name about 20 people who have them. That doesn't seem like 50% unless we are all Really lucky!

I just played this tonight. still just as fun! there is nothing like a good 4 vs 4 team slayer where the score is close and it comes down to the wire 49 - 49.

There is no HD-DVD , nor WIFI in the elite. The selling point was bigger harddrive and HDMI ( this was before it became standard in the other skus) oh and i guess the colour.
and this, my friends , is why i love N4G. When the fanboyism is nowhere to be found, it can be quite the pleasurable experience. bubbles for ALL!!!!!

also i own THQ stock... i thought i was being smart buying in right before earnings with the whole UFC + RED FACTION ... and i was sorta right, they did make a profit compared to the previous few Qs where they lost money... im going long on both ACTV and THQ cuzzzz i think THQ might be picked up , and ACTV has yet to release a BLIZ game other than WOW, but will see a nice boost with SC2 and D3 plus expansions?

I played it on legendary my first go around and it took me about 11 or 12 hours to complete, and I have played about 25 hours of firefight overall with friends. I found the challenge of playing it on legendary worth it, as it was significantly easier to die than in halo ( and i love a good challenge) plus facing off against brutes and hunters has a completely different feel to it when you cant just run up to them with a shotgun and beat them down. ODST actually required some thought/strategy ...
