So this idea just hit me! Why doesnt MSFT implement a system kinda like the whole BF1943 coral island thing. 2500 points gets u a gamer pic, 5000 gets you a theme 10000 DLC for one of your games. 15000 an arcade game. 20000 an xbox original... or something along those lines. Or make it like a tech tree system! 1000 gets u a choice of 10 gamer pix. Depending on which one you choose , you only have certain choices for the next level, so if you want a choice not available, you can go ahead and ...

some people enjoy solving puzzles. and some people like to unlock things. and some people like to customize the way they look, even if they cant see it while playing cept for when u die ( ie custom skins in CS?) and some people want it for bragging rights. Thats why.
Hey just because you dont get it doesnt mean the game is over rated. I have a huge collection of games but after playing the new ones for awhile i always gravitate back to H3. Its just so damn fun, espeically when you're gaming in a dorm with your floormates in the next room. Halo 3 is the ultimate LAN fps along with CS ( CS is more serious, the physics in H3 make for a more hillarious time)

I don't know if im just naive about this, but i truly believe most that anyone on this site could get girls. Maybe if you tookout the name Halo it would sell less, but the fact is the game is set in the Halo universe , the games plotline is set in the halo universe, so it kinda deserves to have the halo in its name. Plus from what i understand, the game's plotline is quite important if you wish to know what happend before master chief arrived. just curious, if a developer/publisher use a larger sized cartridge? cuz those R4 things are like 4 GB or something right? and with the prices that these things are going for these days its not like it would eat into profits that much to move to a 1 GB or 2 GB card. (assuming that its allowed by nintendo etc)

assuming sony is still losing money on every console sold, i think it would be a genious move by microsoft to purchase a ton of PS3s! just think, not only would they be getting machines that could be usefull not as a games system, but as a cheap but powerful PC/linux box, but they would also be sabotaging sony's console buisness by not purchassing software to make up for the losses incurred by the sale of the consoles!
Revenue =/= profit... think about that for a second. ( i know some of you know this but i cant help but thinking that alot of people are using revenue and profit interchangeably. please dont, they are VERY different things ...)
