For some reason I like both for their own merits. However, I did like the easy access to the controls on the consoles. There's so many buttons that CoD4 uses on the PC, I tend to fumble and press the wrong button in the heat of the moment.
That said, I play both regularly ^^

hmm you may be right. Either that or joystick. Like tap based/combo based/timing based fighting games ie tekken, the anologue stick is fine.
But streetfighter is definitely d pad or joystick. I refuse to do Zangief's supers on a analogue stick like a girly man!

Fighting games like street fighter need a good dpad. For fighting games, the ps3 has a better control set up. Where as the 360's dpad's single interface for the dpad makes it harder to do complex moves....
