These "True Gamer" definitions.
I play games as a past time. I enjoy games, I dont care what console its on. (ok ok, I have a ps3, but I borrowed a 360 to beat Gears so leave me alone). Multiplayer is not everything for me. I like my pc too.
I consider myself as a gamer and I only play 1-2 hours tops. That said, I haven't played any games for 2 weeks (work and waiting for mgs4, yes i skiped gta4)
Does that mean I don't qualify as a true gamer? ...

All these feature add ons over time is making my ps3, in my mind, depreciate at an almost nil rate!

PS2 was on the market WAY longer, and the gap between PS2 and XBOX never got close overall. PS2's market and game content was much larger than xbox.
Relatively, Xbox360 is not in the same position as the ps2. That said, Wii was also not a part of the equation back then.
