I wouldn't say "constantly downhill", but certainly a strong downward trend, there have been a handful of bright spots here and there.
Yeah, I'll have to agree (I was bummed), because I ended up just getting a new wheel anyway (my old one can more or less be dedicate to pc) since the new one is compatible with everything I have racing games for (and I hate moving the thing). Don't get me wrong I like the new wheel, but it definitely sucks when you have something you'd be more than happy to stick with, only to be told that you need this new thing "eh, just because".
This was one of my favorite animes from back in the day, had this on VHS, always wanted to get this on DVD or something, as I long since wore my copy out. Plus I never got to finish the story (I got as far as the colleseum battle with the giant). This does look cool though.
I agree, I like plus and I enjoy it, but it is good that they have the unlimited rentals, discounts, etc., otherwise I probably would of left it alone, even now that they've put the online gaming behind it's paywall, since that has never really been a priority for me. They really didn't need to do it to justify PS+, or to force more people into subscriptions. If it ever came to be just paying to play online, then it wouldn't be worth it to me anymore.
Though if you already have a Tournament 2 Edition (and that's a big if, these things are hard to come by), you could just get the artwork and problem solved.
@SynGamer - He replied to you, but I think he may be referring to the article title (maybe, not sure though).
When I can get the core game for $20 or less, maybe then I'll bite. If that never happens (unlikely), then I'll pass on all of it.
Last comment, if he is a consumer of products/services produced by this industry, he is supporting it and other developers, is that not enough?
For the work you do? Yes.
Wow, well there certainly was a c### in that story, lol.
I know this is definitely a game I'm getting in May (it seems fun, and I've at least gotten to try out one of the builds from a friend), not that excited for many of the other upcoming releases in general, because between most publisher's and whatnot wanting to get over on consumers, and a lot of media doing the same for whatever their motivation is, it is getting harder and harder to trust that you will get your money's worth, even with research.
I think the bigger concern is not that the content is a gamble, but rather a complete game is chopped up, so that the content can later be sold as dlc for more money. But as brokenbracket already said, it might just be better for us consumers to wait, if we are to pay for dlc to get a complete product, and buy the core game on the cheap.
So, that explains the delay (they just needed to hack the game to pieces so they could sell it to you bit by bit over the following 6 mo. or so after the game drops). These recent business practices at least make my wallet happy (as it gets to hold on to more of my money). I wish I was just being sarcastic, but unfortunately that seems to be the way things are now, oh well.
I also forgot the mobo is the - ASUS P8 Z77 - V LK, if that makes a difference when selecting a new GPU such as the 2 recommended ones you have listed.
@ Marcello - Intel i7 3770S 3.10 GHz, 1 gb AMD Radeon HD 7700, 16 gb DDR3, 2 tb 7200 hdd + 250 gb ssd (from what I've seen of the game, it's probably the graphics card that'll give me issues).
I've been waiting a good long while for there to be a Dirt game like this that focused on the rallying and less so for the other disciplines (if they are even in it all), since Colin Mcrea or Rallysport Challenge 1 & 2 back on the original xbox. I wanna try this out, but I doubt my PC is good enough.
Am I being disagreed with for the whole comment, or for suggesting that DMC 2 is fixable? Just curious.
Cool, but if there is a HD special edition remaster that I want, it is the Onimusha trilogy, I would love to have that on my PS4. But the original 4 Devil May Cry games would be cool, too (though you need to fix the camera work for 2).
Well, I'll still be getting Phantom Pain, but that is most likely it for me, hopefully this completes everything up nice and tidy (well at least as tidy as Metal Gear's plot can get), so I can finally walk away from this franchise. Besides without Kojima who knows what it will be like, but whenever a franchise I like changes hands like this, it doesn't feel right to me anymore (usually), and I use that as the perfect jumping off point. Off topic, I just saw the trailer for the upc...
Scalebound looks cool, and I'd like to see more of that (can't help it, I like Platinum games), but are we supposed to get hyped over the same tired lineup, if you're into that... whatever, that's all you. No one is catering to what I want to see, but it's been going that way for a while now. Everything these days is online multiplayer, (and you need like 1 good one of those, if that's what you're into) the most generic kind of game design to me. I get it, I must ...
