Yeah, like what happened with the racing wheels? I get the optimism, but would you really be surprised if they didn't. I'm sorry, but these companies seem pretty predictable these days (just not in the good kind of way).
Cool, I like that guy.
So it'll be kinda like MK X, where the dlc, regardless of whether already on disk or not, can be grinded for without having to pay should you choose not to. Good to know, I hated picking up a game that I couldn't play with friends (because either me or they didn't upgrade our copy when a new version came out, when the other did). I imagine the grind will be quite slow (I'm thinking like the more recent Gran Turismo games, and now that I think about it what you described sounds...
F#@k that games as a service b.s. (this isn't why I chose to game on consoles in the first place, it's not what I signed up for), they can keep it. Well at least it works out for me, I spend so much less on games and all that crap these days, I rather like all the extra pocket cash.
Why the disagrees? They aren't including MP from any of them (that I know of), and the Vita game was pretty much SP. What of the touch screen gameplay can't be duplicated by the touch pad on the PS4 controller? Honestly, I can't understand what the argument could be to not include it in a Nathan Drake compilation (it's an extra game, and it would probably feel smoother on a full size controller).
I agree with Foxtrot's first post, they should've included Golden Abyss (the PS4's controller can handle probably all of the gameplay pretty much straight from the Vita version, I think).
Wow, I was so shocked by this news when I read this, that I'm only now able to comment. Sad news indeed, regardless of what people think about him, I believe he is a great loss.
I will, so get this if it comes stateside, had this on ps2, and really enjoyed it.
I like that they are keeping the story elements intact, but I would welcome additional interpretation, or a variant on the presentation ala Metal Gear Solid the Twin Snakes, hmmm isn't Kojima like a free agent now? (just kidding, actually I'm not really sure how I feel about that), or they could just use the same Versus guy, Ryuhei Kitemura.
Wound a little tight are we? Look, I agree sure it deserved it, but so do the lesser known IPs (which might not be for us, but there are enough of that audience out there, that does like that kind of thing). Besides, Sony has been doing this for a while, this whole eclectic, something for everyone approach. This has been one of the most focused conferences they've put out, so what if every second of their conference wasn't geared towards your liking, loosen up.
Why would it disappoint anyone that it wasn't given time during the press conference? I believe some footage was in the sizzle reel, and you knew it would have some coverage over the next couple of days in the show floor coverage. Maybe if the conference wasn't good, but that wasn't the case. At any rate, I'm excited for this, as I could always go for more R & C.
I was a little disappointed, but my kids seemed to think it was the bees knees, Star Fox looks neat though, I still saw a few games we'll be getting, not really a big deal to me.
This is certainly cool, and welcome news. I've wanted to play this game for a while, but just don't feel compelled to get an X1 (mind you I don't think it is a bad system, just not compelling enough for me to spend another console amount of money).
Yeah it was pretty awesome, I was kinda hoping to see any of the characters from the other factions, like what has been shown in the concept art. That combat though.
I agree. Bethesda's was a pretty good start, got me into full E3 mode, I really wanna see that game from Guerrilla Games that we keep getting artwork from.
What's the problem? Aren't those the particular Amiibos that are compatible with that game? I've lost interest in them, because of how they are handled, but I would hardly call that sleazy. They should have bundles of Splatoon with it's game specific Amiibo, then people that wanted the whole experience could've gotten it, and avoid the whole scalping/price gouging situation. Now, I find it funny that a lot of the scalpers/etc. are getting stuck with their surplus of figuri...
Awesome, if true. I'm down for more Vanquish, though it's hard to imagine where they take it, considering the first one (that one was bonkers, here fight this giant robot tank, here now fight two, just constantly ramping up til the end).
This sounds cool and all, but let's have some other games From Software. There have been some really cool stuff that has happened recently in the mech combat genre, how about we get a new Armored Core (just not a complete rehash of the old gameplay, let's break the mold a little).
Well, that looks pretty interesting, I'll keep an eye out.
As an aside, kinda makes me want another Canon Spike (if your listening Capcom, hint hint), hell I'd like to see that Dreamcast Armada game again.
Games media certainly seems to, I get a decent chuckle out of it from time to time, but on the whole not really (as it tends to stupidly take over every conversation, and that gets tiring).
