I don't think this hurts gamers exactly, if it hurts anyone it'll probably be Square-Enix. Maybe Square-Enix doesn't believe RotTR will perform well enough, and opted for the money up front from M$ (they obviously believe it was worth alienating a portion of their fans). We will find out soon enough, but to me TR was never a game worth buying a console for (owning? sure, but doubt it'll sway anyone), just my opinion.
Well if a little tongue-in-cheek humor is enough to dissuade you, all I can say is sorry. MG can and is more than convoluted, but we fans appreciate it for what it is, silly, light-hearted humor (no matter how out of place) amid the more serious gameplay, story, and tone.
Yes, I'm tired, lol.
@The_Devil_Hunter, no I completely understand, I laughed I get it, thanks for the correction.
I wanna see that new Gorilla Games IP that's been teased, hope that makes an appearance.
Can't imagine there is much of a market for this (but to them I guess this is good resource management, most of the works already been done, and they hope to sell for full retail). Square-Enix has become a poorly managed greedy company, they own IPs that people will flock to, but they mismanage their resources, and alienate their fans. It is crazy to see how these companies can eff things up so badly, I am truly at a loss for words (well, whatever, doesn't concern me, as usual I'l...
I second that, would love proper Battle Arenas, here's hoping.
1TB is starting to feel a little small, considering what I want to get down the road. I should have upgraded to a 2TB (though, this probably shouldn't have been a problem, if the system could stream from the BDs). I didn't anticipate the file sizes for games that I have the discs for, they are massive.
Not disagreeing, but you can get that regardless of where you get the game only limited by the window of time that it is available for, needing to only register your copy with Nintendo.
I would like the Twilight set myself, but GD! I hate this pre-order ---- to get ---- practice myself. I want to get this game anyway, and don't mind Amazon. Efff this cr@p, aarrghhh!!!
All I can say is, @author "guess it sucks to be you dude, wanna cookie?"
I do wonder if Strike Suit Zero: DC on PS4 will get on IGC, it looks pretty neat on its trailer, and is currently around 15-20 dollars (I don't remember). All I know is I don't want the same thing that happened with Stryder, happen to me again (there was a sale on it, so I jumped, and then it was on plus like literally less than a month later). I will wait, and just keep my fingers crossed.
You know what I don't understand, why do these articles keep popping up saying Destiny won't live up to the hype? It's not like it has massive hype anyways (outside these silly articles that keep popping up). They let us into the game, let us experience a small slice of what's to come (enough that people could tell if it was something that they were interested in or not). People, in general have already decided if they liked it or not. What exactly are these articles trying to...
In addition to there being a solid offering from PS+, some of the sales were pretty good too. I never played some of the earlier FF games (have only played 2,7,9, & 10, and keep reading/hearing how good the one with Kefka is), and so I got the rest of the FF collection for my Vita I - X/X-2 (already had 7 & 9 on there). They were all in the 50% off section, so I got everything for less than the price of a full retail game, and that is really good value. :D
Eh, from what I saw in the Direct, I couldn't care less. I think the game will do fine without it. I can understand people caring, that are already used to it from previous DW games, but for me (as has already been stated) it's no detriment. I am no less excited for the game.
People aren't afraid of change, well most aren't, but I'm sure that there is a pretty high aversion to b.s. (i.e. such sweeping change that you might as well be putting out a new IP, and making it a sequel just to cash in on a popular name by association, also how some titles are annualized). Not all change is good, as the author pointed out.
Well, the ones that I'm interested in, and getting are Batman, Shadow of Mordor, Witcher 3, and Metal Gear. Though I'll probably also get GTA 5 again, don't know about the Crew yet (it's on the radar peripheral). Also, put me down for Xenoblade Chronicles, even though it isn't listed.
I had a lot of fun with both the alpha and the beta, also it was a nice surprise to get access to the moon (that story mission was actually pretty fun). The classes do have some noticeable differences mostly in mobility (although seeing as how what we got was such a small sampling, didn't get to see any sub class stuff, hell I only managed to max out the first row and a couple in the second row of abilities for the 3 classes).
As for the boss fights that were available b...
@Brien - It wouldn't make financial sense to just add it to PS+ as is, but since they were considering a subscription option, creating a second PS+ tier that included it could make sense financially (though either way not sure how interested in it I would be).
Agree with previous comments, sucks to be taken advantage of like that (the owner and their project backers), the home owner should've relocated them to some hole out in the desert, ;p (for you overly sensitive types, the last part is sarcasm, apparently you have to announce these things nowadays).
Frankly, I hope that the money they got from Microsoft is the only money that they make.
