If every grunt in titanfall could nail you at 500 yards, you'd never be able to pull off the sweet wall-running stuff.
It's a balance, a way to make you feel like a superman. Otherwise it would just be like COD except you could jump on a wall and get killed immediately.
The larger creatures pose a threat, the smaller ones do not, they are just food on legs.
Titanfall isn't getting credit for inventing the concept, it is getting credit for using it in a new setting and bringing it to a new type of game.
Everyone has said from that start that the grunts are basically minions from MOBAs, doesn't mean they aren't a good idea in Titanfall.
I'd forgotten that Evolve has similar system where the monster hunts 'dumb' ai to evolve, good catch.
I like Titanfall's dumb AI, they are nothing more than a battlefield resource that you 'collect', only they have the added bonus of bringing some atmosphere to the game.

Personally I like the Kinect and I use the voice features all the time.
Microsoft needs to show that it's a great addition to the games, without trying to make Kinect only games. They just don't work.
It adds to existing games, it can't run its own games.

Depends how it's used. The shaking off zombies in Dead Rising and the leaning in BF4 are both good examples. Kinect focused games tend to suck fat dicks though.
