I don't see any problem using R2 to shoot. Some people don't like change and like complaining.

Played the PS3 demo and it was quite poor graphically, with loads of jaggies and some poor framerate while shooting in the warehouse. Graphically, these PS3 photo's look like a totally different game. They look a lot better than the demo. Hope the framerate is better on finished game. Why do they put out a demo that is so poor compared to the finished game, you'd think they'd want to show off the best of the game, not the worst.

I had the same problems with the PS3 demo as gypsygib did with 360 one. Poor framerate, tearing and jaggies. Didn't notice gunplay and camera but did the others. Hoping the games better.

I have only played the PS3 demo and it is quite poor. The framerate dropped low during the warehouse shootout and the game had loads of jaggies on gameplay but not on cutscenes. Also noticed a lot of screentearing. I am looking forward to this game still and also getting it on PS3, just hope the game is better than the demo.
I like the look of the city and the gameplay, and hope the story's good. But c'mon, nowadays games shouldn't be as flawed as this.

I agree Mista T. Those 2 games are what I'm looking forward to the most.

Amazing detail. I could tell which is which after looking for a few seconds, but at a quick glance you can't tell.

This is a good game and only played single player so far, will have to try multi-player though. I got it for only £25, the same price as I got Split-second. Both good games, especially for the price I got them for.

I'm same, have to wait 'till tomorrow. I am patient though, so no worries here.

I couldn't play a racing game without a controller, steering wheel preferably, but pad would suffice. I don't see how it would work with Kinect, you do need precision in these games. A casual game, maybe could work.

We don't really need another console yet. The ones out at the moment are still going strong with plenty of life still left in them. The best is yet to come.
I don't consider motion controls the next gen either.

I like the MGS and Horror games that come from Japan, eg:- MGS4, Silent Hill, Siren, Resident Evil etc. I'm not too interested in JRPG's though a lot of people are. It would be sad if we didn't have these games coming from Japan, lets hope the game industry isn't dying out over there and carries on making great games as in the past. It would be sad if it did die out.

I don't really care who I shoot in games. Due to it been only a game.

I am very bad at not finishing games. I have nearly 80 blu-ray games and only completed around 20 of them. I'll start a game and play for a few hours every few days or so, then one day I'll be in a different mood and want to play something different. I am always forgetting the story and controls for games I'm half way through so I start them again, I can't get back into them if I have forgot whats already happened.
I should play one game at a time and carry on with it...

Seems like they're trying to keep it like the original game. Multiple ways to play and endings just like it should be. Loved Deus Ex, best game I have ever played, only played about 1 hour of Deus Ex 2. Really looking forward to this new one, hopefully it'll play just as well as the first game.

I remember having Ghouls and Ghosts for my Commodore 64. It was a hard game, but quite good. Never played Lords of Thunder though.

For an open world game GTA4 looks great, and still does today. RDR looks the same as GTA4 and thats not been out long. Saints Row 2 was very poor graphically, I have seen better PS2 looking games. I think they have done well to get the game to look similar to GTA4/RDR. Saying GTA4 hasn't aged well is saying RDR is poor now graphically, as they are basically the same.

Some people have no patience whatsoever. Game installs save time in the long run with faster loading between chapters etc. Patches don't take that long really, not enough time to moan and bitch about. Plus how many times a year do we get mandatory patches, 5 or 6 a year. Whats half an hour (at the most), every couple of months going to do. Surely people can find something to do for those few minutes that it takes to download and install things.

@ingiomar

I am opposite to you, I wont buy a 360 due to having a PS3 and PC. I don't see why I should get a 360 when theres only Alan Wake that interests me on that system. No point getting one just for one game. The exclusives for PS3 are more to my taste than the 360 ones.

Saints Row 2 was a good game but not great. Graphics were poor by todays standard and driving wasn't too good either. I did like the story and gameplay, but side missions were wierd, some things you had to do were a little silly. Its not a game you can take seriously, where GTA4 you could in a way.
I enjoyed SR2 but I liked GTA4 more, probably cause i'm an older gamer (38) that I liked the realness of GTA4 more.
