I would never mess with my PS3 or chip it. I like to buy original PS3 games, not into copies. After around 1 to 2 months of release 90% of PS3 games become about half the price (Supermarkets in UK).
I love my B/C original 60gig fat PS3. The only thing I have changed is the HDD for a 250gig one. I wouldn't mess with anything else about it, 'cause I wouldn't want to risk damaging it.
I don't see the need for me to get PSN+ at the moment. All the free games on there I'm interested in I have already got. Nothing else that I want is on PSN+.
Course maker is a brilliant addition. It will be great to make your own course. After so long playing certain courses they do get a bit boring, so having a course maker will stop people getting bored of the game as quick. This addition will lengthen the gametime for those who use it.
Been waiting for years for GT5 to come out, and finally its nearly here.

I was thinking about getting this but had no cash left on my PSN account. Now I can try it first. If I find it good I'll get it when I top up my account.
I only play Conquest or Rush(normal). So no biggie for me. I agree, VIP is a failure, we should have at least got some new maps for buying at release.
The screentearing is really bad in that video. Got Official PS magazine (UK) and they have given Mafia 2 (7/10) in their review.

Why wait a year for hand me downs when you can be enjoying it now?
I have plenty more games to play while waiting, I'm in no rush to play any game, especially if it means buying another console. Also games coming out later often get extra content, like free DLC.
Seems you're not very patient.
JRPG and RPG are different but both are RPG's. I like RPG's but not bothered about JRPG's.
I'm also not really interested in RTS games either, but I do like all other type of games.

Suprised the DLC isn't single player. Thought they'd make single player a bit longer with it bieng on the short side.
Also this should be on the disc or a free download. Obviously it was made on time to be put on disc. As said above, this is just a rip off if you have to pay.
Nowgamer review said this game was completed in less than 4 hours. If they're right that is short.
Been getting some great review scores this game. Will have to look at it some more, see if its worth getting.
Will save some money this week as no games to buy. May top up my PSN account instead, haven't bought anything from there for ages.

A lot of the games I like are not on PC, they are on PS3. I have a good PC that can run Crysis on High, but only around 15 games for it. I have nearly 80 games for my PS3.
I would rather have a PS3 than a PC any day. I just like the games more for PS3.
I have got all the games in that top 10 list, every one. My list wouldn't have them in that order and some games wouldn't be in it.
I can't say which are my top 10 games, I have way more than 10 that I like.
I don't see how some on here are saying its been a bad year for PS3. I have bought many games so far :- MAG, Heavy Rain, GOW3, BFBC2, GTA Episodes, Just Cause2, Split Second, Blur, RDR and POP forgotten sands. I have many more lined up for the rest of the year. IMO its been a very good year for games so far.
I love this gen of gaming. There are loads of great looking games to play now on PS3. I have been impressed by the graphics, especially on exclusive games.
I'm not really into fighting games, but this one I'm getting. I like what I've seen so far, looking good.
I had loads of fun with MK on my Sega Megadrive (years ago), not played any fighting games since then.
I got Streets of Rage 1,2 and 3 on Sega Megadrive/Genesis collection. That is one brilliant disc full of games. Its a lot better and cheaper than downloading from XBL/PSN.
I know this is about the best 5 downloadable beat-em-ups, but I had to mention Sega collection 'cause you get more than 5 great beat-em-ups and a lot more for loads cheaper than downloading from XBL/PSN.
