Yet another demonstration of how digital is being held back on display right there. Why not extend this offer to those who want to buy those games digitally? Even just the Xbox One versions (due to being guaranteed day one digital vs 360 where that doesn't happen).
Makes no sense why, if publishers see digital as the future, why they are --on consoles-- doing their best to lessen the appeal of digital.
I'm ready to try going all digital on consoles ...
For some, maybe, but not for all of us.
For me the decision to go all digital, at least with PS4 games, is the remote play ability: being able to play PS4 games on my Vita.
Going with discs reduces the freedom of that ability. If I'm away from my PS4 and unable to switch discs I'm limited to that disc and what else is on my HDD. If I go all digital every PS4 game I own will be accessible to me. That's the selling point for me for going all digi...
For an open world game with no loading time, that is completely streamed, that has hundreds of characters on the screen at one time, and is a launch title, a locked-in 30fps is really great.
All things considered I don't know how anyone can reasonably dispute that.
Such a relief because the framerate was terrible just a couple of months ago.
Can't wait to pick this up with my XBO!
This is one of the games that people have little room to complain about DLC.
Why?
Because Rockstar has spent years and an absolute fortune crafting one of the biggest, most content-rich games we've ever seen. In both quality of quantity, you're more than getting your money's worth with GTA V.
You're paying the same $60 as all other games, other games that didn't see nearly as much development time or budget as GTA V. Gam...
Don't just read the headline; actually read the article.
lol
As a buyer of both PS4 and XBO, remote play on Vita is probably what will determine what platform I buy multiplatform games on.
For me, someone who gets bored of sitting in one place too long, I've long since wished I could take my console games with me to any room, or even outside by the pool. Now, with remote play --and pending it works as they claim it will-- I can finally break the shackles to my living room and game wherever the hell I please.
Here&...
It would be awesome to receive a free game with my Xbox One Day One Edition.
*crosses fingers*
Great news.
Hopefully they'll cough up the release date soon.
Agreed.
I'm getting one day one but the secrecy regarding the launch date is getting frustrating.
As someone who is buying both XBO and PS4 on day one, I'm finding it difficult to plan which multiplatform games I'm getting for what console due to not having a release date for XBO.
It's very possible that I will base my decision on which version is available first. That's not the only deciding factor, but an important fact...
Uh, so because I post on n4g that means I can't afford to buy 2 gaming consoles?
You're making no sense at all, JackStraw.
Both 4 me on day One.
Both will offer excellent gaming and entertainment experiences that I won't want to miss out on.
After all, the best way to be sure that one doesn't miss out on any gaming experiences is to own all of the consoles, so that's what I do.
11/15 and an undisclosed date in November cannot come soon enough for me.
My most anticipated game for Xbox One at launch, but yeah, that framerate and screen tearing can be brutal at times.
Hopefully they can clean it up in time for launch. It would be a shame for what looks to be a great game to be marred by performance issues.
Damn nice update for our EU friends.
Hopefully the NA update is as nice.
I could only get through about 5 minutes before I had to close the tab.
I heard no compelling commentary or opinions at all. Again, to be fair, perhaps she made some after I had turned it off, but all I heard were unwitty, unfunny one-liners in a squeaky, try-too-hard-to-be-funny-and-c ute-and-ended-up-not-being-funn y-or-cute-at-all sort of way.
That would be big for Microsoft, no doubt. Not even necessarily bundling Ghosts with it, but releasing alongside Ghosts would be big because both the series (CoD) and the brand (Xbox) are largely identified with one another.
Offering up the new CoD alongside the new Xbox would be a big advantage for Microsoft, no doubt about it.
I don't agree with this at all.
Wii U is widely considered overpriced - PS4 and XBO are not overpriced. $400 and $500 isn't cheap, but both pack very powerful hardware (and XBO with Kinect) meaning the price is in line with what you get. The same really cannot be said for Wii U.
PS4 and XBO will not suffer from lack of support from 3rd parties, meaning that while exclusives continue to be developed, PS4 and XBO will see a steady stream of games that...
I would love to get Madden with my Xbox One.
Seeing as EU gets their favorite sports game in FIFA, NA gamers should get their favorite sports game in Madden. That would be incredible.
As of yet nothing has been said other than it is happening.
I would image the release date is what we're going to get. After all, Microsoft already did their GamesCom show, so it only makes sense to announce the date at this out of the blue live show.
Would be awesome, of course, but Sony addressed this months ago saying that is not the case.
Things could change, sure, but I would advise waiting before getting too hyped for this.
