Already have a gaming PC hooked up to my TV.
Besides, PC doesn't offer the wealth of exclusives found on other consoles that I have (Sony, MS, and Nintendo).
Already paid off:
PS4 - $435.99 (GameStop)
XBO - $544.96 (Amazon)
Killzone - $59.99 (digital)
AC IV (PS4) - $59.99 (digital)
Dead Rising 3 - $60 (digital; money in my XBL account)
* Already have PS+ and XBLG
That's all I plan to buy at launch, but I do have money set aside for more games and the PS4 Camera if I want them. I'm trying to buy less games so I have more time to spend with the ones I do buy but, if h...
That isn't even a rumor; it's just some person thinking that, because they got games and accessories early, that it means they could get the PS4 sooner as well.
Nothing to see here, IMO.
Naughty Dog is my favorite game developer but, as I'm not much of a science fiction guy, I'm hoping it's not sci fi related.
As they are my favorite, and I trust them to always delivery an awesome game I would still buy it, but I do hope it's not sci fi.
If anyone can make me not mind sci fi, I'm sure it would be ND.
On the eve of PS4's launch!
I am hyped!
Here's what he tweeted:
"Get ready for an epic night of @PlayStation world premieres and announcements. #PS4ALLACCESS, Live from NYC in 2 weeks, 11/14, 11PM on Spike"
On the eve of PS4's launch! I am hyped!
PS4? Who brought that up? By the way I'm buying both at launch so I don't think your question/comment really applies to me.
As for the launch lineup of XBO "tiding me over", I never said anything of the sort. I said the system will sell out at launch.
There's enough hardcore gamers out there that demand will likely be higher than supply until/through the holidays, so Titanfall being released wouldn't matter because the system isn&...
They're right. Titanfall isn't necessary at launch. They will sell out of their stock of Xbox One through the holidays as it is, so Titanfall wouldn't help; can't sell more hardware than is available.
Titanfall launching in March, however, will help a lot. Post launch, when inventory is readily available, Titanfall will help sell those units.
Halo, Ryse and Quantum Break are all getting some sort of TV aspect to them; I think that's pretty cool. It's a nice way of further exploring a game's universe through another medium.
Very cool, IMO.
Buying both PS4 and XBO on day one so I have no dog in this fight, but I gotta say this is going to get ugly.
*hides*
To hell with that.
I have tons and tons of MP3s and AAC; no way I'm paying for/subscribing to another service.
If I want to listen to music while I play I'll use my PC, iPod, iPad, phone or stereo.
That code actually worked for me!
Awesome and thanks!
You're trolling, spamming and off-topic. Do all of us a favor and stop.
On-topic, can't wait to try out the DS4. Seems to be a huge leap over the DS3.
That's a big move by Nintendo, I think.
A bundle with "Skylanders" and "Nintendo" --a gaming brand parents trust-- written on it, sitting at $300 next to other consoles that are priced at $400 and $500 will look mighty appealing to moms and dads when Christmas shopping.
Could be a big move for Nintendo to help with sales this holiday.
I would love that.
Many/most titles from that era have not aged gracefully, and could be reborn in glorious HD and with reworked control schemes.
Bring on the HD remakes, Nintendo. Not at the sake of new IP or new entries in existing series, but rather a way to fill the gaps between those releases.
I hope so.
A lot of great games this generation had technical issues. Frame rate drops, screen tearing, sub-HD resolution, jaggies, etc.
It would be great to see those issues cleaned up in re-released versions, IMO.
Could also help some games that have since gone out of print if they were either re-released, or simply made available on the PS Store.
I love that Xbox One has an HDMI input. My TV has 4 HDMI ports and I will have need for 5 (PS4, XBO, Wii U, PC, Apple TV).
With Xbox One's HDMI in I will use that port for my Apple TV, saving me the money of buying an HDMI switcher.
Very nice!
In the interest of clarifying "where I stand" I'm buying both consoles on launch day.
Now that's that is out of the way, I don't buy that for one second.
As we saw with the PS3/360 era, Microsoft will use any and all situations to brag about sales. They're big on them --particularly U.S. sales. They've shown us that. If their pre-order numbers were as big as Sony's we have substantial evidence, based on history and fact, to...
Tempting as it is to try new consoles in stores, I simply cannot do it. Doing so would take away a bit of the day one excitement.
I HAVE to resist!
My eyes!
WTF is going on? That can't be part of the final product...
