i understand when people ask questions about games / systems, but hell, your comment was just mindblowing. lol i mean, you had to know it was coming, there are some nice, helpful people here on N4G, but there are also some smart asses. and while you got the response you deserved, you're follow up comment wasn't necessary.

however, currently im more interested in seeing Alan Wake finished and released (if that ever happens). but thats because i like horror / thinking type games more right now then the Max Payne universe. however, i did just play through the first again and got that old warm feeling in my belly when i played....

after all the PS3 whooplah, after all the "next gen 1080p graphics" and horsepower of this new shiny system, the PS2 refuses to die.
i personally think that's awesome. I've been eager to get a PS3 (i'll wait for the 160GB model however), but for the mean time i still play my PS2 about 4-5 hours a day.
add in all the games i haven't gotten around to playing, or may just test out since used games are generally ...
will go down in my book as one of the greatest games ever. few games can truly stand by themselves and stand apart and shine as much as SotC and ICO have. And what i mean when i say "by themselves" is that the MGS series is fantastic, but it is a SERIES. series are generally phenomenal (like MGS) but to have a game stand alone and be called a "masterpiece" is hard to come by.
Team ICO is composed of geniuses. pure & simple.
but then again, for me personally, i probably won't read any reviews or watch any more videos for it. some may think thats a dumb idea since the game may suck and with games being 60 bucks, that is a risk, but since it's a horror game, i want the scares!
so im kinda glad he didnt say anything about what he did play (as it may change as well) but also kinda sad, but damn... october cant come fast enough!

Ninja Gaiden 2. IGN had their review up and NG2 got an 8.7, a f*cking 8.7! thats a pretty damn good score, and all everyone could scream about was how it was lower than the first. no one bothered to say it might be as good, but the bar has been raised, people just instantly assumed it "sucked" because it wasn't as good a score as the original (obviously not "original" original).
some people even stated they wouldn't buy the game anymore!

N2NOther, i applaud your honesty about Gears, i felt the same way! the game was entertaing, but for 60 bucks i was disappointed in how short the campaign was and a few other things. and gears 2 looks like it might the same as the first with buffed up graphics, but i'll give it a shot.

which means it was done well (as others have said) but i dont believe just because games are released means they'll shoot up the charts on Live. I don't believe End War or CoD: Waw will be on that list for the top 10. i think CoD4 and Halo 3 will still be high up on the list, if not still 1 & 2 (until Gears 2)

i didn't think BK:N&B is "overrated" as i've heard pretty much NOTHING about this game, and when i heard it was announced at E3 (or wherever) i wasn't jaw dropped by it.
The videos make it look lackluster, but who knows, maybe after so many hours of "serious games" this will be something fun to stir the pot. i think that's why Viva Pinata was a success (although entirely different genre, i get that). Look at games coming out in the next few months:

Maybe when saying "demolished" they mean they demolished their previous sales in Japan? Im not sure the exact figures in japan (or anywhere for that matter) but I've seen people put aroun 2K, and going from 2K to 20K is destroying their usual sales.
I don't know how you can use such a massive word like "demolished" for a one week 'win' unless you just want people to click on the article...

Sony wouldn't wait until all developers knew and agreed that this was coming. MS was smart when it made sure every game had achievements (although early games dont have 1000 i hear but still) but yet Sony is just gonna throw random trophies out there for games? makes no sense to me!
and some of the best games for PS3 arent getting them? seems like they're sticking to Sony. couldnt CoD4 simply have the same trophies as achievements? im no developer / game designer, but if they can make ...
maybe they'll talk about:
1. DLC for GTAIV. I know this isnt new, but maybe they'll show us / tell us how much there will be or how good it might be. I'm not a huge GTA fan, but no one has said it yet lol.
2. new dashboard update, or at least a marketplace that doesnt make my eyes bleed.
3. Alan Wake info. Dead Rising 2, maybe a new IP?
4. new 60 GB system? or at least harddrive / price drop. yeah, we've all heard it but i'll truly b...
since this story isn't 100% approved yet, but anyways, i dont agree with The Bourne Conspiracy getting a M rating from this article. yes, it's rated Teen, you know why? Because the movies are rated PG13. if the movies were R, then the game would've been M. but because it is as it is, we get Teen. if it was an M rated game with PG13 movies, people wouldve complained. not to mention, sold less copies.
