i know one of my buddies is only a casual gamer and it's easy to tell because as much as he loves his 360, all he plays are sports games. he'll devote his life to madden for the first 3 days when the new madden comes out every year (i think all of us do that hardcore or not) but then later on, he does other things with his free time.

avatars are probably the worst thing i've ever seen... and that was when Nintendo made them. MS blatantly copying the avatars has me worried about the future of the 360 and it's games.... especially since i haven't heard of any! BK:N&B might be good, but it might also be the slide into shovelware for the 360... god i hope not, otherwise it's off to just my PS3 for enjoying games.

i was at best buy an hour ago buy some cheap movies and noticed while looking at the games that they had ZERO, i repeat ZERO xbox 360's there. now, when i say NONE i mean 0 arcade's, 0 pro's, and 0 elite's. meanwhile there were 7 80GB PS3's.

Team ICO are brilliant, and I cannot wait to hear more about this project (hopefully at TGS). It's developers / creators like this that break down the videogame barriers some people still think exists (like that games can't be art and all that nonsense).
