@just_looken
What's your opinion on Microsoft selling a controller with tech that has barely evolved since the 6th gen for $60?($85 with a battery pack)
What about the SSD with its gen 5 prices at gen 3 speeds?
I only brought up Xbox because only the fanboys seem to have an issue with the device and everyone who likes it is automatically labeled as a Playstation fanboy.
Lets be real here. The only reason japanese games are even released on Xbox nowadays is because Microsoft pays them extra.
Notice how all the smaller titles get skipped.
I don't think you'll have trouble getting the Cosmic X. They might discount it in less than a year due to lack of sales.
Wait about a year, I'm sure they are going to lower the price by 150 due to lack of sales.
You sure not taking about Nintendo or Microsoft here?
Have you played Astrobot rescue mission? It is one of the very best platformers of last generation, being a VR game, many people missed out on it. A large scale game of that caliber is well worth the price.
I haven't seen many games published by Sony that isn't worth the price, they are one of the few publishers left that actually gives you a complete game day one.
@thesoftware730
You backlog doesn't seem to be an issue when Xbox release a game.
Tust me, this game is amazing. It's better than anything Xbox has put out this generation.
The demo is barely scratching the surface.
Maybe that's because they are now targeting 60fps in all of thier games first, which is much more impressive.
Microsoft hasn't produced a game in the level of Sonys first party exclusives in ages, Hellblade 2 had to sacrifice alot to get to this point.
I don't get your comment, you make it sound like Microsoft always makes better games than Sony, you're funny guy.
@InUrFoxHole
Weren't you the one that said Stellar Blade looks like ass?
Fanboyism is one hell of a drug.
If the switch 2 isn't backwards compatible, it will fail.
If this is true, then it will already have a large of games to play from the start, add ps1,ps2,psp,vita games to the mix, and it can be massively popular.
The dualsense overpriced?
It offers more features than 200 dollar controllers.
It's the Xbox controllers that are overpriced, with tech barely evolved from the 360, and with a battery pack makes the controller even more expensive than the dualsense.
My biggest concern is that if they focus on multiple platforms, games won't be as impressive anymore.
The reason Playstation exclusives look so good is that they are only developed for that console alone.
It is one of the reasons why I think Xbox exclusives have been dropping in quality at least in terms of graphics.
The main issue they have with this is that they ONLY seem to do it to asian games, or anything that looks like anime.
You're telling me that ripping people in half in Mortal Kombat is OK, but a 2D visual novel like doki doki literature club gets its blood censored? Even if their both rated M.
I personally don't care much, but I can see why people are upset.
I've noticed this only happens when something bad happens at Microsoft/Xbox.
They also mass down voted everyone on articles about Redfall and Starfields underwhelming review scores.
I also feel like Turn 10 and the forza motorsport series is on its last legs.
The newest game in the series completely killed off most of its fanbase.
@InUrFoxHole
The Xbox One launch fiasco sure didn't do anything to convince you Xbox fanboys that Microsoft can't be trusted. It seems like most of you still worship them like gods.
@maelstromb
What about the micotransactions? Do you really think helldivers 2 would be the same if it was published by someone else? Same with Stellar Blade, and all its outfits.
What I've noticed is Sony is the only one of the big 3 without a game having predatory micotransactions. They always give you complete game from day one, I don't think Sony get enough credit for that.
You're right, its about half of this article in fact, that's why they only gave it a 5.
Did you read the review?
Half of it is just talking about the "sexualization." I don't think most reviews are being fair to it.
Most, if not all reviewers who scored the game very low are actually praising the games combat. Gameplay should always come first, isn't that what you Xbox guys keep telling us?
If you got bored than you are not playing it on the hardest difficulty.
It's not a low quality effort, they added trophy support, save states, rewind, controller configurations per game, Microsoft doesn't offer any of that. All of these features for only $10/5 is more than worth it.
While I agree that the low resolution is disappointing, at least the games run solid and are bug free, im surprised Digital Foundry didn't talk about that.
They they instead brought up the performance issues of the PSP emulator, like they refuse...
