PS3 would be the total complete package and future of gaming if they would just get rid of blu-ray. Games dont need blu-ray or HD DVD for now. The PS3 Blu-Ray will only be one sided, 25GB and same with the HD DVD add-on for Xbox 360, it to will only be one sided to 15GB. But if you buy the actual Blu-Ray or HD DVD players, then they are double-sided, Blu-Ray Player = $1300 = 50GB, HD DVD = $700 = 45GB.

It may be crazy and quite expensive, but why not just get the HD DVD add-on for christmas or whenver it comes out. And wait half a year or so, or however long it takes to you to save up for a PS3 and get that. Then you have both Blu-Ray and HD DVD, and running off of both Xbox 360 and PS3. That would not only be kick @$$ in your room, but your experiencing best of both worlds from Microsoft and Sony. Thats what Im doin.
It happend to me. I wanted to play COD2 on Xbox Live, and when I went to sign in, it wouldnt let me, and said server is currently offline. So I went onto the xbox.com website to see if I couls sign into my account there and it wouldnt let me. This all happend at 2:30am PT. Also, if anyone experienced it, and went to the website, in the top right hand corner where it usually has your gamertag, gamerpoints, etc. and the sign-in button right next to it, you'd notice that it was taken off the web...
It must be OFFICIAL. Its 2:30am and I cant sign into "My Xbox" on xbox.com. Plus if you notice on the site, usually in the top right hand corner, it says your gamertag and sign in info., but that has mysteriously gone. So there must be something happening.
WTF, I won mine in that Win one every 10 minutes thing and I got it like a week before launch, like Nov. 15, and it has neevr froze, burnt or died on me at all. I think its just a bunch of Sony Fanboys that say their 360's over-heated, just to put down the 360. Yea. I think ever since E3 06, there has only been like one or two good pieces of GOOD news for the PS3. So any news about the PS3 not breaking down or not over-heating or not some other things mentioned bad about PS3, Will be good news. So if this cooling system is what is going to help the PS3 stay alive and not break down, Id consider this good news, but still, they're going to need better news than that, to convince me that the PS3 is good again.
The people that said they saw a PS3 blow up or not work were rumors. It was actually the Ac Adapter they saw that wouldnt start the machine, and when they got a new adapter, it turned on and worked fine. They havent blown up yet, but if they dont start testing every PS3, to make sure all the systems work, then they will be screwed.
