getting rid of a better, more powerful console in PS1, and going with kiddy games on N64. Dont get me wrong, some of those games were great, but not as great as what Playstation had for it.

Im gonna have to agree with big tim, you guys are retarded. Really, if u guys didnt know that TGS was PS3's major convention for the summer, then you need to get out more. Because I won mine in a contest, and it ddint say anything about a warranty or you can phone in and get a warranty and i had on clue, but now i know. Anything electronics get warranties, even if you get it free, phone in and get it.
I just paid the 130 bucks and then they said, it will be 2 weeks, half a week to recieve it, a week to repair and half a week to send it back. But this works out great, cause there havent been any good 360 games as of late to buy, and i still have enough for a PS3 + 1 game and 1 more game for 360, as well as paying off my new tv and everything. So im happy right now
My Xbox 360 has just been sent off to Toronto where it will be fixed and i will be getting it back on September 9, 2006. Now I can rest safely knowing that my Xbox 360 days are over, but inspite of what has transpired with me over these past 24hrs., I am still back the way I was from the beginning. I am now 51% in favor of 360, 49% in favor of PS3 and i will still continue to supports both consoles for as ong as I can, just as long as I dont keep getting screwed with the hardware again. yea it does suck, and at the moment im trying to see if i can somehow get the money to fix it, but even if i do, by the time i send it, they fix it and send it back, school weould have started, i would now work weekends and 2 days during the week and im in sports so really i have to wait till cmas to play games. Im proud that a XBox Fanboy actually said sumthing good about the PS3, I think hes the 1st one. I live in Canada. And i dont think you have any friends that live here that have a 360 and need the help im in, like only paying 65 bucks, cause if i could, i would. but i know the States so that and prolly Europe, its just somethin about the M$ Canada that they just will not take Yes for an answer. so unless you can get me the discount or give me 65 bucks, then im saying Xbox is crap for now. HDMI - At least PS3 has it. You dont see it on Xbox 360
Gigabit EP - at least the thought of 3 was interesting, unlike the normal 1
CGI/Ingame - Most all of the PS3 games now, that are scheduled for launch release dont need CGI anyways and it is all in-game footage. and if you bring up Killzone, I dont care, Game sucks ass anyways.

At least the 600 dollar investment will work, unlike the XBox 360 which is a Piece of sh!t for 400 bucks, and then if it breaks, you have to pay another 130 bucks, now your looking at 530bucks spent on 2 consoles and then for 70 bucks more, get a diff. console with better longevity and function then 360, and they dont rip you off. My Xbox 360 died on me today, and if i get PS3 and it works, than 360 is a piece of sh!t. I new I shouldnt have left PlayStation. Xbox always does this, they put out unbelievable games on their systems, but when you get the system, it doesnt work, then when you try to get a new one, its costs you 130bucks to fix it. THEY RIP YOU THE FUK OFF. Why cant they just make consoles work. They've got problems. But having said that. PS3 hasnt come out yet, so only time will tell.
Thank you for ur comment, and i actually tallied it up from when i got mine till it dies today, and seeing is how u got urs on Jan 26, if the same life span for mine occurs with yours, youve got till November 8, 2006 until itll die. This is just a hypothetical guess i took, but maybe you were one of the lucky 2 million that got a console that doesnt break down. And if it does, dont bother phoning tech support or 1-800-4My-XBOX, cause they dont help worth sh!t and all they tell you is, oh well...
i mean ur a friend to me an all on Xbox Live, but just because other people, like me take interest in other games like PS3 and Wii, doesnt mean we have to listen to you and not buy the things we want to buy.
