@korn
Hell no it’s not. Running doom at 144fps is a MAJOR difference to 60. Don’t say you can’t see it either because you definitely can.
1440p @144fps is a dream.
And what is a sequel to you then? Something completely different?
That’s not even remotely plausible. There no way the Editor could possibly have read EVERY review and watched EVERY review. Stop being absurd.
If they put Doom on there it’s going to tank in sales. It’s my most anticipated game. Will not buy unless it’s on steam.
Keep telling yourself that
How in any way is that steams fault?
He’s dead.
I got this when it first entered EA. Time to download again!
And restrict yourself from Hundreds of thousands of exclusives running over 100 FPS? No thanks.
Go compare star citizen and Bannerlord announcement conversation to now. He’s not.
Sorry but it’s not true. Go look at what happened to mount and blade 2. It was extremely hyped when it was announced and 4 years later no one cares about it anymore. Same with star citizen. Go look at forums about these games. They’ve become memes.
Forza isn’t even close to a sim wtf are you talking about? The physics are SO off.
I don’t even like racing games and I know it’s not remotely accurate.
I felt the same honestly. I loved the original mod and the standalone release. This just felt...off. The gunplay felt floaty. The graphics were not much better than the first. Performance was AWEFUL. I have a GTX 1080 and could barely keep 60 FPS at 1440p. The movement was far too heavy. There was a lot of lag and the maps were kinda...bland. No flow to them.
I’ve never liked he concept of every army using every gun available. I find it ridiculous. Seems only “hardcore” games use proper equipment per team these days.

Oh ho ho guys we found the curmudgeon!
I’ll take 144fps over using my dust collecting Xbox one.
@obscure
I didn’t mention halo 5 gameplay...
But since you’re asking. The movement makes half the weapons pointless. Grenades are useless. Makes beating people down the most viable option in most scenarios, forces the maps to be larger. That’s a few.
I much prefer the the classic style rather than the trend chaser. I enjoyed MP for a while but the movement system got increasingly annoying through various exploits.
...
We only know the art style is classic. We know nothing about the gameplay
The sounds will likely be improved. They made major improvements from the originals e3 demo and DOOM was ALL about the sound.
