I mean I wanted WWII again. But you know...actual WWII. COD WWII was the same as this. A historical unrealistic cosmetic selling nonsense.
I remember a time when developers strived to make their games fit whatever theme they chose as much as possible. Now it’s about how many cosmetics they can sell to kids.

1- they clearly don’t know their audience. Bf for people was about emulating a war scenario. Not being a fashion show. BF used to make fun of COD for being highly unrealistic and silly. Now they’re following suit.

The main complaints are:
-Lack of team unity in aesthetics, basically no proper uniforms for any team
-factions using the wrong weapons and equipment
-factions and divisions fighting where they didn’t

Based on what I tried in the alpha it’s becoming less and less like battlefield. There’s a lot less teamwork, sniping is stupid easy, reviving anyone at any time kind of ruins the flow, severe lack of ammo is incredibly annoying, the map was really small and a bit of if cluster f***, the aesthetics are all over the place.
The game honestly feels like DICE didn’t know what they wanted it to be.
The alpha was pretty bad. Small map, next to no teamwork, aircraft are useless. The games also launching with little to no content.
I would just wait for the price to drop. I got my 1080 6 months after it launched for $500.
I played the Alpha dude the planes are useless. They do next to no damage. Go watch any video on them. They’re pointless.

Battlefield has always given players the look and feel of either a non fictional war or fictional one. Regardless of the period it’s been set it there was always a level of immersion. That’s not the case with BF anymore. COD use to be the same way but it...
