No, there’s still some veterans left alive. I shook some of their hands earlier this year. That makes this even more annoying.
Imagine if some slaves were still alive today and DICE made a game about slavery but the slave characters were white. People would lose their minds.
I highly doubt it. There’s 0 hype for it. Most of the press is negative. BF1 was ALL positive.
Why? It looked like the time period it was supposed to represent. That’s what BF players tend to want. An arcade shooter that looks and feels like a real war.
This looked like a steampunk convention that a bunch of teens hosted when they found grandpas gun chest.
That right there is why a lot of people are going to avoid it. They wanted a WWII game. Not what ever this is supposed to be. Enjoy playing a dying game. I’ve bought every single BF game. Won’t be getting this one.
If you choose a theme. Stick to it.

This game doesn’t represent WWII at all. All factions using wrong equipment. No one is in uniform. The weapons are all wrong.
The entire game looks like they pulled out a bunch of WWII weapons at a cosplay convention and said have at it. No structure. No proper representation. Innaccurate faction details. Goofy cosmetics.

I just love how for some reason in historical settings they decide to make machine guns the primary weapons...when bolt actions were the primary for all armies aside from America. Then they decide to add goofy customization IN THE SAME TIME PERIOD.

The switch isn’t a full console. Getting doom to run on it at all was impressive.
