If something makes a player better that “evens the playing field” that’s not skill. That’s a handicap.

I guess gran turismo isn’t realistic because the cars don’t get demolished when you crash and you can pause the game.
The new port is the BFG edition which changed a lot from the original PC version.

The gun customization is massively improved. The animations are massively improved. The engine is clearly improved. The graphics are improved. The sound has had a major over haul. It doesn’t look to have all the childish shit from past games. Completely new game modes including a 100 player mode with vehicles.
Sounds like a major improvement to me and I hate cod.

The skins are why couldn’t get into MWR. I can’t stand goofy skins in modern conflict settings. It’s so out place.
